Who here has transferred a prescription before?
I got a coupon for a free $10 gc if you transfer your prescription to target-I currently use Walgreens-how do I transfer it? Do I call walgreens tell them where to send it? Or do I call my Dr's office?
Re: Who here has transferred a prescription before?
This exactly. Its helpful to have the Walgreens Rx number, but not necessary as long as they know what medication you want to transfer. And you can only transfer a prescription once in the state of NE, so once you transfer it to Target, all refills will be stuck there and you'd have to get a new Rx from your doctor to fill it at Walgreens the next time.
(From someone who works in a Target pharmacy)
Target's website is crap lately, I haven't been able to use it since they changed the layout, it is deathly slow and freezes up all the time. I called the Target pharmacy and gave them a little info and that was all they needed. (they lady I talked to said that the RX # isn't needed when you call-just an fyi).
