Not sure who/where your insurance covers but DH had a great experience with Dr. Green at UW Sports Medicine. DH completely tore his Achilles to the point it looked like a mop on both sides and Dr. Green fixed him right up.
Re: *emyinpink* re: ortho
My surgeon who I just saw is amazing!! I know he is an orthepedist but he might specialize in tumors. If not I would call him - i love him
he has operated on me 3 times.
Dr. Ernest Conrad
I haven't posted here in ages, but here's where I had knee surgery in 2000 (ACL reconstruction).

They are seriously wonderful! A lot of their doctors work with the local pro sports teams/athletes & they have foot & ankle specialists, too. I saw Dr. Seidner (who's bio says he went to UCLA) & he was really great to work with. He asked a ton of questions, explained everything he was doing & really made me feel comfortable with every aspect of my treatment. (It also didn't hurt that he's really handsome!)
Sorry you're having so much trouble healing!
Sweet that's really helpful. I requested an appointment with UW orthopedics (looks like the same group as the sports medicine group) with one of their foot/ankle specialists who specializes in fractures.
Opaortho looks awesome, but I don't think our insurance covers proliance surgeons
