Moms - what age did your babies get teeth?
I think maybe Max is but I'm not really sure, he's only 4 months. He's been sleeping horribly at night the last couple weeks (was sleeping 6-7hr stretches before that, now he's up every 2-3) he's crabby most of the day, wants to be held constantly. He took one 30 minute nap earlier today and he's finally asleep now. He normally naps really well, up until about 3-4 days ago. He's been drooling and sucking on his hands for the past month so that's not really anything new. Is this what teething is like or could it be the infamous 4 month wakeful period I keep reading about. Whatever it is I'm looking forward to getting past it!

K didn't get any till 8 months. He got his first almost exactly when I got my first tooth.
Hope things calm down for you soon.

Baby Sister is coming soon!
Well, it's not four months of wakefulness. But rather a period of a week or sometimes two, when the baby gets to be about four months old, where he/she wakes up frequently, doesn't sleep the same as before, etc.
Steph shush up with your only one to two week wakeful haha
I totally thought Ava was teething early as well but turns out it was the 4 month wakeful...that's when all hell broke loose and I ended up co-sleeping with her for a couple of months because I just couldn't do it every hour and get up and work the next day.
Not saying that he or Clara aren't but Ava definitely found her hands around then and did some more drooling...but she got her first real tooth at 6 months...I started seeing whites a couple of weeks before but then she got one and then just 8 days later she got #2 haha
lol @ cole - I know, I'm a lying liar. Genna's been going thru the four month wakeful for uh... four months now. ha!
But I agree - I think a lot of it has to do with them finding or learning new things ("omg hands! wow feet! dudes, I can totally SIT UP and STAND UP in BED!!!*(&*($@^^&$*(@&").
