Kitchen Design Stores
I googled but couldn't find too many area stores. I'm sure they must exists, so hopefully you guys have some recommendations? We're in the process of building a house. I want to order a custom island for the kitchen. I plan on going to Lowes and Home Depot as well, but if there are local small businesses that can do this sort of thing, I would like to check them out. I'm in Hopewell Junction, but willing to travel probably about 1/2 hour in any direction, including Danbury.

When my parents redid their kitchen they went to Page Home and Hardware on Rt 55 in Poughkeepsie across from Overlook Rd. They were able to design everything there and you could either have them install it or you could have your own contractor install.
