How is everyone today?
Last night I had a bit of a hormonal breakdown, so my wonderful husband cleaned the kitchen (with Erin's help) and made dinner (chicken nuggets!) while I sat on the couch and watched The Walking Dead. It was much needed.
Tonight, overdue grocery shopping and the last episode of TWD from season 1.

We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?

Re: Good Morning!
Raynes - That stinks, hopefully today will be a better day and your hormones will be nice to you.
Lasnight was crazy. By the time I got home from work, DH was finishing up supper with the boys. I then gave them baths, did a load of laundry, labeled all their stuff for DC, and packed up all the things they would need. I finally got to bed around 10, and zonked. I wanted to watch some Dexter, but I was out.
My day is already off. I got the boys to DC around 7:10, and I was surprised that they seemed to do ok. I was worried since they had never been there, and never met the staff. I snuck out, and am shocked I didn't cry. I will be checking in on them soon because I need to know they are doing ok.
Tonight, I need to put away a crap load of laundry from our vacation. It's currently in piles in the bedroom. I am also hoping to finally watch some Dexter.
Have a great day ladies.
I'm home sick today...though I am not really sick sick (possibly TMI: I've had bathroom issues since yesterday and yesterday being at school sucked...I can't just leave my classroom of kids when I need to and I really didn't want to have to deal with it again today...one of the downsides to teaching--I can only use the bathroom on schedule...)
So, I will run on the treadmill later (not risking outside...) and I'm making homemade pizza for dinner. I need to do a little planning for an in-service that apparently I now need to help run on Monday...nothing like finding that out first thing this morning, blech, and I may try to finish my book, but that is about it for my big plans for the day.

My cold is now in full force, but I can't stay home from work this week, because DH has to be in early and home late. So, I'm the only one who can take Jackson to daycare, and then it just seems silly to turn around and go home.
I stayed up way too late last night playing with photos and watching TV. Then I realized I still should shower and pack bags for the morning. I think it was about 230 by the time I finally crawled into bed. My alarm at 630 hit me like a ton of bricks. I'm a total walking zombie today. Thankfully, I brought 2 cans of Dr. Pepper and a baggie of chocolate chip cookies. Nice diet for the day, eh?
In better news, it's 65 out today, so I might be able to spray a first coat of primer on the end tables Jay brought home off the side of the road. Yeah. I'm sick, but I hate wallowing in it at home sometimes.
I'm exhausted. Kyle has been tossing and turning in his sleep all week which means of course that I've been awake too. I guess having a long weekend and getting out of the normal routine wasn't a good thing for him.
Last night I got in a good workout and did a little bit of work around the house. I hardly sat down before I went to bed. Tonight I have a college b-ball game to watch at 6:30 so I'm hoping to get in a workout prior to that. Otherwise I have no major plans for the night and am hoping to get to bed early.
Hi all. I think I'm starting to come down with this cold that's going around. Bleh. Trying to fight through it though, and hope it doesn't get any worse. That will not make for fun travelling this weekend.
We're going to the gym tonight and then having leftover t-giving food (we did turkey on Sunday) for dinner. Yum. We finished off the pumpkin pie last night, though, so unfortunately no dessert

Good morning, ladies.
The dog woke DH up at 3:20 to go outside (this is unusual - if she does that it means she really has to go). So what does he do? Wakes me up to ask if I think the dog needs to go out. Um, yeah - that's pretty much a sign straight from God that YOU are supposed to let her out. Don't wake me up for that. geez.
Back at work, but it's pretty quiet around here. I will have my SS in the mail this week - I hope I'm not the last one to get it done.
Have a great day, everyone!

Good morning!
I've got the ultrasound at 1:50 and I'm SO nervous about it. Halfway, I'm just convinced that I'm going to end up peeing myself - I don't think I can drink that much water and hold it in for that long! The other half (okay, more than half) is the realization that this is all about to get very real, one way or the other. I'm nervous. Nervous. Nervous.
Other than that, I'm teaching tomorrow and then I'm off on Thursday and Friday for moving days! Eek!

Morning ladies. I'm back from London yesterday evening, and it was a great trip! B and I met up with Sushi and her DH on Friday night for dinner. We had so much fun, we almost missed the last tube back to out hotel. Luckily, we made it with about 4 minutes to spare. I love vacation, but coming home is never any fun.
Now I'm back at work today, and it's going to be super busy around here. Hopefully, I can buckle down and get through it before the jet lag sinks in.
Hope everyone has a great day.
Same here. I hate the mall and anything near it, so I'm hoping to get in either late or super early this weekend.
I haven't mailed my SS gift yet either!! I have one or two more little things to pick up, so I hope to have it in the mail this week.
kaesha, good luck today. FX for you. Let us know how it goes.
We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?
Yesterday was pretty good although I got quite grumpy in the evening. I was planning on going to the gym this morning but overslept so I couldn't make it before having to take DH to the University. I am going to try and make it this evening.
Other than that I don't really have plans for this evening. DH has two more papers to do this week and he has two more days to get them done. He is stressed and grumpy, I am just happy that he is almost done and I don't have to deal with this for much longer.
It took me an hour and 45 minutes to get to work this morning, so I'm already off to a crappy start. Then AF snuck up on me. I'd like a do-over, please.
I was planning to go to spin after work for the first time in 9 million years, but that requires leaving early and I already got here late, so I don't know if that will happen or not. Right now, all I am looking forward to today is Taco Tuesday for dinner.

Good morning!
I'm back to work after a wonderful five day break. Yesterday I got all the Christmas decoration and the tree up and I started my Christmas cards.
Today is back to reality, boo! I have a million emails and voice mails to wade through and a ton of end of the month stuff. Yuck.
I haven't even bought a single thing for my SS, I'm really slacking and need to get that done!
Kat- Hope the boys have a great day at daycare today.
kasha- good luck today! Post an update when you get a chance.
I just sent my gift out yesterday.
Last ngiht was a nice night. I made dinner and played with the boys then we watched how the grinch stole christmas and shrek the halls. Me and Jordan went on and did a headstart on spelling words for the week so we don't have to do those tonight and we read our story for last night and tonight. I have some housework to get done so hopefully Jordan won't have much homework and he will play with preston while I do some cleaning. I am super super busy at work this week which means I am not getting any personal stuff done. I hate sitting in front of my comptuer when I get home, but I have got to pay bills tonight and do a few other things I normally have time to do at work.
Good morning ladies! I just got in to work to an already ridiculously long to-do list. Thankfully O only woke up once last night and DH got up with her so I feel more rested today. I'm pretty much ready to plow thru my to-do list.
Tonight I'm going grocery shopping and then cleaning and laundry. I'm having a small birthday party on Saturday which means lots of cleaning so I figure if I start now I won't have as much to do that day.
Hope you all have a great day!
Good afternoon! Today's my first day back to work after Thanksgiving break and I'm desperately trying to catch up with everything. I've been in meetings all morning, too, so that doesn't help.
The weekend was very relaxing; on Friday, we made a visit to the National Museum of the American Indian and enjoyed it. After that, we had dinner downtown, so that was nice.
We only had one Black Friday/Cyber Monday splurge, but it was a biggie: Palace Resorts had rooms 10 to 20 percent off, along with a $1,500 resort credit (which we had this year, too, and used it to upgrade to the concierge level). We ended up buying an 8-night, 7-day stay at Sun Palace for April, so we're all geeked to be going back to Cancun.
Off to try to get some work done. Have a great one, all!
Kaesha - good luck today. Please keep us posted.
I also haven't even started shopping for my SS. I need to do that this weekend and put in the mail for Monday.
Morning! I'm overtired. I'm not sleeping well at night because we're dealing with baby mama drama.
I swear the holidays bring out the worst in some people.
And I've been using this username for basically everything since I was 10 - and over the crap going on now, I think I might need to change it, and dammit I don't want to.
Hi ladies! I'm still trying to kick this cough, but I need to get my act together because, as of yesterday, I have THREE job interviews over the next two days! One this afternoon and two tomorrow, and all are good opportunities within commuting distance. This always happens, it goes quiet for awhile and then everything comes together at once. I'm really hoping one of these comes together, I'd love to start working as soon as possible so we can start to get on our feet financially, buy a car, and all that fun stuff. But I'm so nervous.
Good luck today kaesha, let us know how it goes!

Well that was a crazy couple of years.
I had a great vacation, but I am still in vacation mode, which is evidnet because I forgot about a training for CPR and instead went to a meeting for a group and I am going to start observing. Oh well I think that it will all work out.
On the very brightside, C and I found a new place to live that is bigger, nicer and has a yard for the same price we were paying. Now we just have to sublease the apartment we are in now. I am so happy!
Good afternoon. I am late on this one. Yesterday was so so. It's cold and gloomy here so I made some chicken gumbo. Today is the same except slammed at work. It makes the day fly though.
Secret Santa I have a few more things to get but it will get to you.
You always seem to hit the ground running wherever you go. Good luck today and tomorrow!
Thanks :) I feel like it always sounds a lot easier than it is, but I've definitely been lucky to have this response here so far!

Hello all! Today was extremely busy at work today. I was at the small hospital today and yesterday the pharmacist went home sick so we did remote verification but I had to catch up on a whole bunch of clinical work since she wasn't there. Since I knew it would be a rough day, I woke up at 5am to run 4.2miles on the treadmill since I knew I wouldn't do it tonight.
I told work about the pregnancy yesterday. They were very happy for me and nice about it. I only got to tell my manager since the director was busy all day (so I told her when I saw her today) so I didn't actually tell any co-workers yet. Apparently there was much speculation at the bigger hospital since apparently my breasts have grown quite a bit so several of our technicians thought I was pregnant.
One good thing, after talking to my director today she actually said "we'll have to get working on your transfer then!" which was a relief since I technically still don't have my letter stating my transfer to full time permanent. It's like a weight off my shoulders.
