I am helping host a baby shower this weekend and one of the things I am in charge of is the "entertainment". I made some wishes for baby cards for people to complete. A friend told me about a game she thought was fun at a shower she recently attended where the hostess read different baby related multiple choice questions (ex: What is the average weight of a baby at birth?).
First, is this cute or stupid?
If it's not stupid, do you have any random trivia facts you can think of?? Thanks!
Re: Random baby trivia?
I love trivia games so I don't think it's stupid. I also like the game where you pair the oddly named celebrity baby with the celebrity parent, that's fun.
As for trivia facts, some I can think of are:
-What percentage of babies are actually born on their due dates? (I have heard varying statistics like 2%, I'm sure the answer is out there.)
-How many babies are born in the US each year? (4 million)
-What is America's most common birthday? (October 5th)
-What are the top 3 childbearing states? (California, Texas, and NY)
-What's the average age of a first time mom? (25)
-What were the most popular boy and girl name of 2010? (Jacob and Isabella)
Good luck!
I LOVE trivia games so I think it sounds like a lot of fun. Kim gave some great ideas for possible questions!
Good luck and have fun:)
I like it. If you have access to inside knowledge, maybe add some questions about the mom / dad.
What age was soandso potty trained?
When did soandso give up the pacifier?
