What is LO up to? Any new, funny, exciting developments?
Zac loves to hide. Shut doors, hide in closets, make tents, be really really quiet so we can't find him. It puts the worry in us. DH really doesn't like it, he's constantly getting down on Zac's level and saying, "You do not hide from Mommy and Daddy."
So far it's only in houses ... but I see where DH is coming from if we are out and about.
He also has learned to open the front screen/glass door. Thankfully it has a lock, I love having the door open for daylight, the adults have already run into it a couple times thinking it's just press and open still. LOL!
Anything LO is doing (or not doing) that is driving you up a wall?
He is such a whiner. If he doesn't get his way, he has this ugly fake cry. I just laugh at it.

We will take Z to see Santa, and buy the ridiculously expensive photo then copy it for the G's. We have last years out now, and he is making the connection of who Santa is + I think it is helping him see that he was sitting on Santa's lap last year, so he can do it again this year.

I love my bubby, he makes me smile. That's all.
What is LO up to? Any new, funny, exciting developments?
Tessa is walking now all over the place and has 2 teeth (finally). She refuses to eat purees anymore so we are strictly on table foods for 3 meals a day plus her formula. Girl can eat.
Kellen's vocabulary has just exploded over the last couple of weeks, which I am very excited about since his speech has been slightly delayed. We are still slowly working towards potty training, but I still don't think he is quite ready yet. At this rate I will be potty training him and Tessa together.
Anything LO is doing (or not doing) that is driving you up a wall?
Tessa is a little mischief maker and is always getting into EVERYTHING! She is way worse than Kellen ever was at this age. Anytime you try to correct her she just looks and you with her little sly smile, we are going to have our hands full with that one.
Kellen has been extremely, extremely clingy lately. He has major separation anxiety issues with me lately. I guess it's from me being home 24/7 the last month since I haven't been working. It makes it very hard to go anywhere alone or leave him with anyone else, including DH. He has also been throwing even more temper tantrums. I thought age 2 was bad, it looks like age 3 is going to be even worse *sigh*.
Are you doing holiday pictures? If so, any set ups you really like or want to do?
We aren't taking any professional Christmas photos. We had their photos taken at the beginning of October, which reminds me I need to scan them and post them. We are just going to go get their photo taken with Santa and then try and take a family photo for Christmas cards. We tried to take one on Thanksgiving, but neither child was cooperative after having no nap that day.
Anything else you would like to share?
We are having Tessa's 1st birthday party this weekend. Her birthday isn't until the 16th, but since it's only a week before Christmas we decided to have it early. I can't believe she is almost one already :-(
What is LO up to? Any new, funny, exciting developments?
Alex is such a chatterbox and she loves to sing and dance. So, she's pretty much a riot when she's happy. Yesterday, she was singing along with the theme song to My Little Pony (which we have to watch a few times a day or face her wrath). I wasn't watching the tenth time she said "Mommy, watch this", so she puts her hands on my face, says "Look at me" (just like I do when I'm trying to discipline her), then starts singing again.
Anything LO is doing (or not doing) that is driving you up a wall?
Sleeping. She also has that wonderful limit testing/everything is mine/I'll do whatever I want and laugh when you try to stop me/typical 2 year old behavior. Yeah, that's fun.
Are you doing holiday pictures? If so, any set ups you really like or want to do? (I'm asking this because I'm at a loss as to what do for Alex's Christmas picture.)
She went to see Santa last year, but it was with all her cousins on H's side, so it wasn't a useable picture. I did set ups and took my own pics the past two years, but am having the hardest time figuring out an idea this year. I know I'll regret it if I don't do something though.

What is LO up to? Any new, funny, exciting developments?
He learns something new every day! He is talking up a storm and we really have to watch what we say. He knows where his belly, head, nose, and eyes are. He's playing peek-a-boo and pat-a-cake. He does routine things without being asked (gets his own wipe after eating and cleans his face, goes to the bathroom to brush his teeth when we tell him it's bedtime, etc.) I am amazed every single day.
Anything LO is doing (or not doing) that is driving you up a wall?
Um, STTN. I don't think he's ever going to.
Are you doing holiday pictures? If so, any set ups you really like or want to do? (I'm asking this because I'm at a loss as to what do for Alex's Christmas picture.)
I attempted the twinkle light thing from pinterest. I don't love it because you can see the wires and there aren't enough lights, but this shoot about killed me. Toddlers + laying on the ground + horrible back pain = not fun trying to get a good picture. My friend is also taking pics this coming weekend that we'll use for Christmas cards too. I like to have a variety, so I'll probably use this one too. I need to re-edit it because he had a candy cane to keep him still and his face is still a little red!
Anything else to share? 15 month well-baby tomorrow and 15 month birthday on Wednesday and STILL no molars. Supposedly at his 12 month well-baby they were "so close" so I find it odd that there's still nothing. Any other 15ish month old without molars out there?
Our crazy, wonderful life
What is LO up to? Any new, funny, exciting developments?
She pants like a dog. Sticks her tongue out and pants... She is pretty much running now.
Anything LO is doing (or not doing) that is driving you up a wall?
super mom clingy and hates it and throws a fit whenever she doesn't get what she wants. Need to learn not to respond to the tantrums / fake cries.
Are you doing holiday pictures? If so, any set ups you really like or want to do? (I'm asking this because I'm at a loss as to what do for Alex's Christmas picture.)
Tried to take a picture of her in front of the tree. Wow toddlers are impossible to take a picture of. Got some that are ok. May do a card with a few pictures so we can use some of her school pictures

New room! She is in the more toddler like room. Eating with a fork now and off a plate! Big girl!

What is LO up to? Any new, funny, exciting developments?
She is so fun lately. She has new worlds all the time ("poop", "octopus" and "dump") are fun recent ones). I also took her to the playground the other day and it had been a while and I was so amazed by how much more she could do (and how daring she is, climbing up the stairs and going down the slide by herself!). Also, her best new trick is she puts her jacket on by herself (the little kid trick of putting the jacket on the floor and then flipping it over the head - remember that? so cute).
Anything LO is doing (or not doing) that is driving you up a wall?
She is STUBBORN. She has a sassy personality and doesn't stop to "No".
Are you doing holiday pictures? If so, any set ups you really like or want to do? (I'm asking this because I'm at a loss as to what do for Alex's Christmas picture.)
Every year I say I'll do pro pics and then I never do. Just seems like a hassle and then the pics are so expensive. I will take some for the card. I got her a new dress, we'll probably use our tree as background and/or our front stoop with the lights, wreath, etc.
Anything else you'd like to share:
I leave you with thispicture from Thanksgiving. ILs have this metal dog doorstop. Jane is obsessed. She thinks it's real and can't understand why it doesn't DO anything. She pets it and says woof woof and tries to get it to run arond (like my Mom's real dog does). It's hilarious, but we had to hide the dog at one point b/c she didn't want to leave it (and it's in the cold front entryway!)
What is LO up to? Any new, funny, exciting developments?
I went back to work and C started daycare yesterday. Apparently he was laughing and giggling all day. The baby giggles are so cute.
Anything LO is doing (or not doing) that is driving you up a wall?
We have to work on the new schedule for work. Waking at 4:30 to nurse, when I have to get him up at 6:30 anyway is not working.
Are you doing holiday pictures?
We've already had our main ones taken. We don't have all of them back yet, but so far have a sneak peek and this one is particularly cute if I do say so myself. Can't wait to see how the full outfit with diaper cover and legwarmers looks. Sorry about the picture size.
What is LO up to? Any new, funny, exciting developments?
She's really fun lately. She calls everyone "my" whatever... like when I give her a snack, she says "Thank you my momma." She loves to "play" Angry Birds and Bejeweled 2 on our iPad (she calls it a "hiPad" though.) Every time she sees a helicopter she screams out "CHOPPER!" I get a kick out of her. She's not really ready for potty training yet, though, which is something I wish I could speed up but I won't push.
Anything LO is doing (or not doing) that is driving you up a wall?
Much like Jane, this child is STUBBORN. "Stop," "NO," "Come back here," ... fruitless. She does what she wants to do. Her big thing right now is coloring on walls and the floor.
Are you doing holiday pictures? If so, any set ups you really like or want to do? (I'm asking this because I'm at a loss as to what do for Alex's Christmas picture.)
We're just going to see Santa. She'll get pro pics when she turns 2 in January.
Anything else to share?
I think she's gonna be a great big sister.
What is LO up to? Any new, funny, exciting developments? I'm with Megan in that Mads is just fun lately- she's the funniest & cutest little person
She's constantly chatting, singing to herself & dancing (she's obsessed with ring around the rosy & falling down, along with pop goes the weasel & jumping around the house) The stuff that randomly comes out of her mouth is hilarious, and all of a sudden if she thinks something is really funny, she doubles over, laughs & slaps her knees- we have NO idea where she picked it up from, but it kills us every time!
Anything LO is doing (or not doing) that is driving you up a wall? Definitely her stubborn streak also- the girl knows what she wants & is adamant about it. I think this may become a bit of a challenge down the road.
Are you doing holiday pictures? If so, any set ups you really like or want to do? (I'm asking this because I'm at a loss as to what do for Alex's Christmas picture.) Last year Mads was terrified of anyone with facial hair, so we didn't do a Santa photo. We may do one this year though- she's obsessed with sled that we have with Santa's face painted on it... she runs up to it saying "Hi Santa! Ho ho ho", so maybe she'll do okay? At this rate though, her Christmas card photo might just be one from earlier in the year.
Anything else to share? She's been soooo sick since Sunday with some sort of virus that was shared at daycare. Basically just a high fever that refuses to entirely go away. She's okayish otherwise- crabby & clingy, but eating & drinking pretty well luckily, but a mess at night time.... I hate seeing her so miserable & feeling so helpless
Kellen didn't get his molars until he was around 16 months or so I think. He was late getting a lot of his teeth. He still had 4 teeth left up near the front that he didn't get until he was around 2.
What is LO up to? Any new, funny, exciting developments?
Talking all the time, she has conversations with us, we only recognize a few words, but her expressions are priceless. And she will "read" a book out loud to herself. Jill she loves the Peek-a Who book--she turns the pages and says WHOOO every time!
Anything LO is doing (or not doing) that is driving you up a wall?
She still won't say mommy, mama, or anything close, she prefers DH--I try not to let it bother me but sometimes it does.
Are you doing holiday pictures? If so, any set ups you really like or want to do? (I'm asking this because I'm at a loss as to what do for Alex's Christmas picture.)
I want to, but we just took family pictures as well. Maybe just with santa.... I want to try one with her and some christmas lights.
Anything else to share?
She is eating more and more everyday!!! Still a little peanut but we are less worried. And my sister is having a girl--so we shipped all her 0-3 month clothes to my sister the other day.

Julia has started putting words together. I'm not sure if she's truly talking in sentences but she is definitely on her way!
Anything LO is doing (or not doing) that is driving you up a wall?
When she gets mad she blows raspberries. Drive me INSANE!!

Yes, we were supposed to go take them this afternoon, but I'm home from work with her. She was up last night throwing up, but seems to be fine this afternoon. I can't take them by myself so it she's still feeling ok when DH gets home we may attempt them anyway. We're going to take her picutre in a cotton field for our Southern themed Christmas cards.

Part of her Christmas present is a trip to Disney & I'm so excited! She absolutely loves Mickey so I can't wait to take her!

She loves helping me do everything. This morning she insisted on cracking an egg, so I let her, she actuallly did pretty good! She's really into drawing and painting and would probably do it non-stop if I let her. She especially likes to draw moons. :-)
Her growing vocabulary continues to impress me. How do they learn so much in so little time?! She's really starting to use sentances and getting really good at communicating what she wants.
Her imagination is so awesome! She is constantly making up imaginary things, her favorite imaginary things are bubbles that she gets in the hallway. It's adorable!
Anything LO is doing (or not doing) that is driving you up a wall?
The teeth brushing issue. :-( Plus, the constant whining if she doesn't get something she wants. ou can tell two is right around the corner.

Nothing formal. Just going to have my mom or dad take a pic of us.

Liam is so fun right now! He is constantly talking, often in full sentences that we can understand:) He runs everywhere, loves the playground and just being outside (he is such a boy!) He absolutely loves looking at photo albums and pointing out the people he knows, and saying their names. On that note, he has finally started calling me mommy:) I was mama for a little before he was one, and then nothing. A few weeks ago, he was calling me Teri (seriously!) and last week broke out the mommy. It melts my heart:) He likes to play with cars and trucks, and is finally getting into some shows/movies like Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Cars. He is potty training, and doing a great job!
Anything LO is doing (or not doing) that is driving you up a wall?
He is stubborn and moody, just like his mama. The child beats to his own drum, and does not like to be told something that he doesn't want to do. Sounds like everyone else's toddler:)
Are you doing holiday pictures? If so, any set ups you really like or want to do? (I'm asking this because I'm at a loss as to what do for Alex's Christmas picture.)
We will just be taking a photo in front of the tree to put on Christmas cards. We tried Santa last week, and it went horribly wrong. He got so upset. We may try again but I am pretty sure we won't get that photo this year!
Anything else to share?
I can't believe how fast it goes! My little man will be 21 months next month, my how I love that boy:)
Neena will occasionally sit on the potty mainly because she thinks it's fun, but she's no where near ready to be fully potty trained, which is totally normal for kiddos Neena and Natalie's age--I honestly think the nest and the bump give is unrealistic ideas of what are kiddos are supposed to be doing at certain ages. I'm not saying that it's impossible for a kiddo to be trained before two, but it's rare. :-) They will get it in their own time.

Sawyer is busy trying to figure out walking. He's taken a few steps unassisted, walks great if he's holding on to your hand, and will stand when he's distracted, but as soon as he realizes he's on his own, his plops back down on his butt and crawls. He's also really into sorting, which is cute, but sometimes a pain. He'll take anything out of its container (blocks, dog toys, laundry, whatever) & place it all somewhere else, then he takes it again, and one by one, will put it back in the container. His favorites are folded laundry & the pillows on the couch.
Anything LO is doing (or not doing) that is driving you up a wall?
He has been really whiney lately. He hates it if we're sitting on the couch and will cry and try to climb up with us unrelentingly, even though once he's actually on the couch, he wants right back off. In the evenings especially, he's not content until one of us is laying on the floor with him, even though he usually ignores us and plays with his toys once we are.
Are you doing holiday pictures? If so, any set ups you really like or want to do?
I really want to try the bokeh twinkle lights pictures, but I have to buy s few strands of white lights with white cords first. Hopefully I'll be able to convince Sawyer to sit still long enough.
And here's a picture from our attempted photoshoot last weekend. He was definitely not cooperating, and this is the only picture I got where he wasn't crying or trying to get away. Also, notice his feet? Total mom fail on that one!

Our holiday picture is in my siggy. It was an outtake but we thought it was so funny that we used it.
We just started him on solids on Thanksgiving and he is doing pretty well. He has had squash and sweet potatoes so far. He has been a little fussier than usual lately but I'm not sure if it is teeth (I dont feel any) or because he is terrible at napping. Oh, and he is still not STTN.
What is LO up to? Any new, funny, exciting developments?
She loves to share her Cheerios with our dog and the dogs at Grandma's house. She's trying to open the doors by the door knob. She is slowly learning how that works. Time to get some more doors child proofed! She's starting to dance a little more, even on her own. So cute!!
Abbie is running all over the place now, which is so cute to watch and hear her feet.
Anything LO is doing (or not doing) that is driving you up a wall?
She's not drinking milk from her sippy/straw cup. I made the decision to go cold turkey on no bottles when we introduced milk. She'll drink at most 2 ounces from a cup. We still are doing 50/50 with milk and either BM or formula. She will guzzle water all the time out of the cup, so I know it's not that she can't do it. I know her thoughts, "My milk is supposed to be in a bottle!!"
Are you doing holiday pictures? If so, any set ups you really like or want to do? (I'm asking this because I'm at a loss as to what do for Alex's Christmas picture.)
We are going to do 1 year photos (a few weeks late) and family photos on Sunday. I don't know if we'll have the photographer (a friend of a friend) do some holiday-ish shots or not. If not, we'll do our usual of set the timer and all get in front of the tree. I just hope Abbie cooperates for our own photos! Last year it was easy as she was only a month old!
