I'm on the hunt for a new apartment and was wondering if anyone had recommendations in the West Chester/Malvern/Exton area. I'm in downtown WC right now and rents are going through the roof.
We're looking for a one bedroom that allows cats, nothing fancy - just affordable.
Anyone had any good experiences in the area? TIA!
Re: Apartment hunting
Nest ate my first attempt at this and just left your quote.
You're probably talking about Windsor, I will definitely check them out. Thanks!
Windsor sounds right!
I know a few people that live(d) at Treetops and really liked it. Not sure what the rent is like, but they do allow cats.
I'm trying to think of others near me in WC...Goshen Terrace, Rose Hill, Goshen Meadows, Golf Club. I know people who have lived in all except Rose Hill and had good experiences. Don't know about cats, though.
Also check Craigslist for Goshen Valley. We tried to rent out our condo there a few years ago (before we sold it). We had re-done almost everything, so we were asking $975/mo for a 2BR. I'm sure you could get one cheaper than that - and many places allowed pets.
Our friends live in Highgate Apts. and there apt is really nice and there is a gym on site.
Not sure how much rent is, or if they allow cats but they have lived there for about 4 years and really like it.
Thanks so much for the suggestions. They're all going on the list.
I'm wary of checking places out before getting req's from other people. There are some shady little places in this town.
