As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

photoshop and other software
I'm dying to get my hands on some Photoshop. I used to have a burned copy, but when I redid my computer, it went with it. Now I'm looking at purchasing CS5, but hello pricey. The Photoshop Element software is much cheaper, but I'm not sure if it's going to give me the same results I want.
I know how to use layers and format pictures and such, so the CS5 wouldn't go wasted. Any ideas?

I have cracked copy of CS3 after my laptop died and ate my last copy (given to me by my web designer BIL) - it's easily found as a bit torrent if you're not adverse to pirating.
Get the Totally Rad Actions and Lab to go with it. I have the trial versions of each and they're awesome.

I tried getting my hands on a cracked CS5, but the code got messed up at the very end. I was so sad.
My thought is to go with CS5 rather than just Elements so I can use the different downloadable actions and such. Not sure if Elements supports all that.
I work at a college, so the difference between Photoshop Elements and CS5 is about $100
Just trying to figure out if it's worth it to get the professional fancy dancy CS5 or not.
yeah. that's the deal i'm thinking on right now. then the photoshop elements is only $50
I think I should just go for CS5 and not have to worry about what i'm missing out on, but i'm worried it won't be user friendly enough for my day to day use. Although, I use picnik for most of that stuff.
