U/S update: The plot thickens! (now with more TMI!)
Ha! Well, we still haven't gone about this in any regular way, but we have some answers at least.
Okay, here it goes. First the embarrassing part: the u/s was unsuccessful because I was too gassy. 
How awful is that? So, they had to do a transvaginal camera thingy, and there's still a passenger in my uterus. So, yay for that!
And now for the news you were all waiting for: when did I pick up the hitchhiker? My dating was all off. She put me at 6w 4d... which still had me wondering about how this was possible... because that means that bleeding was a period. Since we had a whole lot of yoga right the days right before my period started, my current best guess is that I must have ovulated during my period (which, again doesn't surprise me because I've never had a normal cycle) and gotten KU then. Still totally unusual, but the odds are 1 in 1000. Goodness knows SOMEONE has to be that 1 in 1000, might as well be me. 
Anyway, that's where I'm at so far! Thanks for thinking of me everyone.

Wahoo for a ute passenger! Any sign of a hb? I have no idea if that's still too early or not.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again, being on these boards is quite the lesson in statistics. Or at least, it's a decent example of it.

YAY! I'm glad everything looked good and there is a little passenger in there!
FWIW, since my m/c I spot around when I O, sometimes pretty significantly. The first time it happened it freaked me out because I didn't know why I was getting "AF" so early, but it only lasted a couple days then my real AF showed two weeks later...if you O'd late and spotted around O rather than a period, that could explain it...

Glad to hear things went well. FYI - I'm SO gassy now that it's horrifying.
I've not had the transvaginal ultrasound before but I guess they will do that next week at my a/s to get the cervix measurement. That part doesn't sound like fun.

raynes - I almost spit my pop out over your reaction! I asked my OB about it at my appointment last week because I wanted to be prepared for it if it was transvaginal. I also asked about the whole water thing and he said that I didn't have to drink anything more than what I would on a normal day.
