Hangs head in shame...

I'm rocking out to BOTH Glee Christmas albums.  I'm such a sucker.

What are your favorite holiday songs (if you have any)?

Re: Hangs head in shame...

  • I'm not much of a Christmas music person but when I'm in the mood I like the upbeat songs like Jingle Bell Rock.

And no shame onesly! That sounds like fun :)

  • I love all the oldies.  We have a CD with Bing Crosby that we always play at my parents house.  It's my favorite.  :)
  • Maheim Steamroller is what we always used to play while decorating the tree with my parents when I was a kid so it's my ultimate Christmas music.

  • I had my holiday music fest yesterday.  I love the religious Christmas Carols.  Oh Holy Night and The Little Drummer Boy are my favorites.  I am open to pretty much anything, other than bad covers.
I don't mind being held to a higher standard; I mind being held to a lower one. (Sam Seaborn, The West Wing)

  • After years in multiple bands I've grown to hate most christmas music as I've heard it too many times! So no Christmas music here.

  • I wanted to bust out the christmas music last night but DH wouldn't let me, he said it was too early :-( party pooper! He did agree to put up some decorations though, so I can't complain. In his house, the tree, and most decorations never went up until a few days before Christmas, they are NUTS!

  • I LOVE Christmas music. I already started listening to it last Friday. I feel bad for my DH. Here I play it 24/7.

I'm pretty sure you can buy cans of it off of amazon.de, but you'll pay out the ear for shipping.  I just be sure to drink gallons of it when I'm home...but yeah, I miss it.

  • We pulled out the Christmas music this weekend, too!  My favorites are Christmas with the Beach Boys, Songs for Christmas by Sufjan Stevens, James Taylor at Christmas, and one mix a friend made me with a bit of Bing, Nat King Cole, etc...

  • Currently listening to Diana Kraul (sp?) and Michael Buble, so right there with Christmas music, my ultimate time of year, Otto and I played with magic snow today!  Not that we have any snow at Christmas, or in fact any time of the year but it was still fun.

  • I absolutely love Christmas music and totally wear it out! DH is not really a Christmas music fan and only lasted 20 mins listening to it in the car with me this weekend. Good thing I can get my fill listening to it at work all day! I try very hard to wait for the day after Thanksgiving to start...

For me, the Carpenters christmas album was a classic at home (while decorating the tree) so that feels most like Christmas. I also love "All I want for Christmas is you" by Mariah Carey and the whole NSYNC Christmas album. It's the most wonderful time of the year...

We're headed to the Maldives on Christmas Eve!

I also love Christmas music, and it doesn't feel like Christmas without the Carpenters Christmas album. I listened to it a couple of times this weekend and DD loved it!

  • I love Cliff at Christmas (Cliff Richard) but also admit to cranking out the Glee Christmas albums.

  • I, too, love Christmas music.  When I was growing up, we always listened to the classics; Bing Crosby, Perry Como, religious carols etc. I find listening to that always puts me in the Christmas spirit (and sometimes makes me a little homesick!)  I also enjoy the NSYNC Christmas album.... so I guess it is a mix of both old + new(ish).    DH isn't too big on the whole Christmas music thing, so I try to wait until December 1st -   can't wait until Thursday!
  • I just can't do Christmas music atm. For the past two years I've either worked FOR or IN a retail store during the Christmas season and I just can't take it anymore lol.
