I just checked and I apparently forgot to note the start date of my period since September. I've had periods since then, but have no recollection of how close to my cycle I've been. My cycles page now tells me that my period is already 5 days late.
Now once in a while my period does come in 1 or 2 days late and that never corrects itself, so the date of my next period would usually become two days later as well. If that has happened, I'm only 2 or 3 days late. Still late, but not anything to get 'worried' about yet. If it really is 5 days, holy shyte, I'm never that late!
I'm wrecking my brain to figure this out, but I really can't. I guess if it hasn't come by tomorrow it's time to buy a test... I'm not sure whether I'm ready to do that yet though, as I'm not sure what I want the result to be. We aren't trying. We really want to wait until we finally sell our condo before starting to try (getting rid of 1 financial burden before adding another, lol), but at the same time, my ovaries are rattling and I'd love to have a LO
Please send me vibes for wisdom, or something.
Ugh!

Re: with all those topics on cups - my cycle
Even if you've never been late before it's always possible that you ovulated later than usual causing your period to come later.
If I were that late though I know I'd pick up a test. I'm a nervous nellie like that. GL!
As a totally non-committed type wrt kids (I like the idea, but am less than keen on the execution/reality), I hear you
.
Anyway, wish you good luck with all things am sure they'll turn out as they should!
No need to buy a test anymore. My period JUST came in.
Not sure if I'm happy or sad...
For some reason I didn't have any cramps today - usually I have insane cramps about 4-6 hours before it comes, which is why I really thought it wouldn't show until AT LEAST tomorrow if at all. I won't complain about the no cramping though! :-)
