How long did it take you to get a counseling appointment?
I left messages last week with 2 different offices and haven't heard back from either. I'm kind of limited by my insurance, and I was looking for somewhere close to home, but I guess I'll have to look a little further out.
The day I left was just my beginning.
Re: How long did it take you to get a counseling appointment?
Hmmm...that's strange. I know that once I called the office, it took a while to get an intial appt (1 month out or so?) but I was at least able to get a hold of someone quickly. I'd keep trying back and various hours or even stop in to make the appt?
Not too get too personal but if you are willing to get counseling by the White Marsh mall, I have a good rec. You are near Baltimore right? It look about a month for my first appt.
Since it is the holiday season, it may take a little longer. My therapist told me she gets busier this time of year
after leaving a message I heard back in a few days later and had an appointment two weeks later.
I just call them again and leave another message

Glad you have an appointment, but I'm sorry to see you're over in this neck of the woods. I hope you're ok. Let me know if you need to talk.
So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past.
