Okay, was anyone else a little irked by Taylor and Russell's counseling session? It is really hard to see him this season knowing that he ends up killing himself in part because of the show and his marriage. If I were his family, I would be so peeved that he is no longer living but this story is playing out on national TV.
And I thought his comment that was something like "It's amazing what a little respect will get you in life" was very strange. Do you think he was insinuating that as long as Taylor 'respect' him then he will treat her well? It's interesting that he said that knowing what we know now (or what Taylor says at least) about his abusive nature.
I don't think Adrienne should be so upset at Lisa about Pandora's b-party. It seems like her friend offered to throw Pandora that party. If Adrienne cared so much then she should have offered first. Let it go, geez.
Also, wtf was with Brandy wanting to get everyone together for a BJ party? Maybe that would have been fun if she was really close friends with those ladies but considering they already think she's trashy, that's not really helping her case.
Re: RHW of Beverly Hills- 11/28
The counseling session seemed like another business obligation for Russell. He was so robotic and very rarely showed emotion other than anger.
Bravo said that they edited the show with regards to Russell's involvement, but it would be unrealistic to edit out anything that had to do with him. If the family's going to get peeved about anything, I think last week's episode was worse in terms of showing him in an unfavorable light.
Taylor needs to get over being pissedoff at Camille. And can we please get back to seeing more of Camille? I miss her.
Adrienne needs to let go of the bachelorette party thing. I thought it was ridiculous for her to get bent out of shape in the first place. As a PP said, if she wanted to host the party in her casino, she should have made the offer. Why should Lisa come to her and ask, *especially* when someone else made the offer?
I do love a lot of Adrienne's shoes, both her personal collection and the ones she's put her name on. I can't wear heels to save my life, but some of those shoes make me desperately wish that I could.
After last week's episode, Lisa Tweeted that they chose a much smaller and cheaper wedding invitation and her fans should know her better than that (I guess she got quite a few tweets about the insanity of the giant pink invitations). Those were still rather ostentatious.
That wedding planner irritates the crap out of me. I'm dying to see the wedding, but I want him to go the hellaway.
I'm thrilled that we didn't see Kim at all this episode. I hope she's out next season. As long as Kyle sticks around. I wasn't on board with her mean girls routine with Brandy, but I still love Kyle.
I would not want to take a BJ class from a porn star with my closest friends, let alone with a group of women I barely know. I commend her for wanting to find something fun/creative for them to do, but that activity seems waaaaay off base for that group. Lisa can't shut up about Taylor and the cotton candy a year later. Can you imagine her at a BJ workshop? Or Adrienne, who's fairly proper and sedate?
I really think Taylor is stupid. She has NO reason to be mad at Camille. Camille was only repeating what Taylor had apparently said to each of the castmates already. If she didn't want it on tape, she shouldn't be on a reality TV show.
The fact that she told her friends that Russell broke her jaw, and then continues to stay with him and claim to love him is gross and disturbing. It was very telling when the counselor called her out on her desperation to not be alone.
Adrienne was totally creating drama by supposedly being upset that Lisa didn't ask to have Pandora's party at the Palms. Sillly.
Agree wilth everything said here.
Did anyone notice that the therapist kept saying to Russell "when you get "mad" and when yuo get "angry"? It;s like they were talking about the fact that he abuses Taylor without actually saying it.
So sad.
I wonder if he has ever hurt Kennedy. I hope not. At the very least she knows her father has a temper. Looking back to the episode where he was home cooking dinner for her, she didn;t really want anything to do with him. She seems like a very sad little girl. Even at her birthday party, she wasn't in the best mood.
Adrienne and Lisa are on the show to promote their businesses, period. Adrienne got pissed because Lisa didn't take an opportunity to cross-promote. They had an agreement prior to the show so that's where Adrienne's attitude came from.
As far as getting upset with Taylor for not leaving her abuser...it's oftentimes not that easy. She's wrapped up in the cycle of violence and doesn't know which end is up. Having joint business interests and a lot of dirt on each other further complicates things. I've never seen Russell not act like a robot, so I have no doubt she felt threatened that he'd go after her in a very clinical manner. I also think she's holding out hope that the honeymoon stages will start to become permanent. It's all so typical and I can't be mad at her for it. Part of me wonders if she didn't keep doing the show so she wouldn't have to be alone with him as much. I have compassion for her and I'm annoyed by her all at the same time. I hate that they're seeing that quack though. No therapist worth his or her salt will counsel a couple where abuse is suspected or confirmed. The abuser uses sessions as intel gathering missions to further manipulate the victim.
On a lighter note, I would totally have gone to Brandi's BJ party. Sounds like it would have been fun. I guess I'm trashy like that.
OK, here we go:
1. Lisa/Adrienne: Lisa can have her daughter's bachelorette party wherever she wants. BUT if there was a prior agreement, then Lisa needed to be a friend and do the right thing. Seems like she is in competition with Adrienne lately.
2. Russell was very manipulative in the session. I feel for Taylor, but she has a child in that mix, and needs to SAVE HER DAUGHTER and stop thinking about "I am scared to be alone". I know that people have different opinions about him commiting suicide and being on this season. I think his family didn't want to know the truth about him; they are in denial.
3. I thought Adrienne's shoes were ugly. But I wear flip flops and not 6 inch heels. I though they were fug.
4. Kyle is my favorite and I LOVED her green dress!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
5. Mauricio........ahhhhhh..............
Taylor needs to get over it with Camille- the truth hurts doesnt it Taylor? That's the only reason she is mad, because Camille had the balls to call her out. GO CAMILLE!
Thank goodness for no Kim- I didn't miss her at all- she needs to be done.
I LOVE Adrienne, I can see her asking Lisa about the party- but being mad about it is just a waste of energy. But I think Lisa is a little devil behind her accent- what's up with her having a shoe line that debuted the same day at Adrienne's? Can we say jealous!?
The wedding planner is driving me nuts, I hope this wedding stays classy and not over the top gawdy!
Brandy I just don't like her- she's a wanna be- who's famous because her ex left her for a country star. The BJ party is tacky- I can't wait to see the drama that unfolds next week.
Overall kinda a boring episode.
I'd go to the BJ party too! I think Brandi is just silly/fun, putting on no pretense. And the BJ party idea is just out there enough to get these ladies out of their comfort zone and laughing TOGETHER. (Good thing RHOA's Kandi didn't invite the RHOBH to her b-day party with Ridiculous.)
I am glad Kyle's giving Brandi a chance. I think it'll really cause trouble with Kyle's relationship with Kim, however.
I think that Camille was in the wrong for announcing on national television that Russell is abusive to Taylor, if she was the first to announce it on camera. If Taylor had already mentioned it to the other ladies on camera, I don't think Taylor can be mad at Camille.
I feel badly for Taylor and what she's going/gone through. I agree with PP quoted above, I can't be mad at her for staying with Russell because she's not well enough to get out. That aside, I don't really like Taylor. She strikes me as manipulative and unpredictable.
I am glad that Adrienne and Lisa are on the show, as examples of powerful, smart business women. I wish they wouldn't cat fight.
Pandora tweeted last night that Lisa didn't plan her bachelorette party - she planned her own - so everyone needed to get over the fact that it was held at PH and not the Palms.
Well she clearly got her business promoted by whining about it over the span of 2 episodes.

Yes, the counseling session definitely seemed obligatory and he lacked emotion.
I can see why Adrienne, in part, was upset at Lisa... I guess it's one more b*tchy thing that she's done. I am over Lisa this season and think she's so self-serving!
Exactly. Adrienne's sour grapes equals more publicity.
Although I like watching Kyle and I think she is interesting for the show, I realize she is a MAJOR gossip and pot stirrer. I know it's for TV, but she is always instigating (in this episode she started with Taylor in the limo about seeing Camille). She's always talking about the other girls behind their backs.
I missed Kim. I actually like her kookiness.
Oh and the previews with Taylor becoming totally unhinged -- looking forward to that!
I took Lisa's comment about watching out for the VanderPUMPS to be a joke...?

It didn't premiere at the same time as Adrienne's shoe, though. It's not out until next year.
I wonder of it got delayed I had read something else that said it had already come out when Adrienne's did.
