SO: what should I get a new flame for Christmas?
I'm a big gift giver. Love doing it but I'm in a bit of a pickle on this one. I want to get the new guy I'm dating something but the relationship is so new that I don't know what to get.
I met him about 2 months ago. We aren't "official" or anything. We probably see each other once a week but talk almost every day.
Any suggestions for a gift?

Maybe something wearable: a shirt, a sweater or his favorite cologne (if he is a cologne wearer)
I think cologne is a nice gift ... does he have an iphone, you could get him an itunes card for music/apps ... make a booklet of "gift certificates" for a night out to dinner your treat, things like that ... something for his car/garage/tool ... if he reads maybe a new book ...

I've been trying to think of something thoughtful but small. I don't want it to feel too over-the-top but at the same time I'd like to give him something.

I think this is a good idea. Does he like scotch? A decent bottle of scotch and a set of scotch rocks would be a great gift-- or either one of those by itslef really.
