Smartphone Help?

I just got a Samsung Stratosphere from Verizon, it's my first smartphone and I can't seem to find an App I can use to run my AOL e-mail account directly to my phone. The only thing I can find is a URL to go to AOL and login to get my e-mail.  Does anyone know if AOL has something that will forward the e-mail to my phone as a message?  It's an Android operating system if that helps. TIA!

Re: Smartphone Help?

  • It looks like AOL has an app you can download for email.

  • Yea, I went to this website and when you go to "download" the app, it just had a place to enter my phone number to "send the app to my phone" and instead it was just a link to aol to sign in.

I think I found something on my phone that will walk me through an AOL e-mail account sync, I'll give that a try.  Thanks!

I have a Samsung Gem and there is a place where you can add your POP email account. It sounds like you may have found it.

I know, it's very misleading.  I fell for it too!
