Before I moved to Omaha, my GP recommended my next step for my knee to be an MRI, because she believed I had a torn meniscus. I can no longer deal with the pain - does anyone have any recommendations for someone I can see, before I just pick one out randomly?
Thanks!!
Re: Orthopedic Surgeon Recs
I just had knee scope done on Wednesday with dr smidt with ortho surgeons. I made an appt with him at Iowa clinic (west lakes) since my primary there but he has a couple of other offices - though I've heard it takes longer to get in at those.

He is very nice and listens to you thoroughly.
I had knee surgery with Dr. Sullivan with DMOS. http://www.dmos.com/sullivan.asp
His nurse told me that athletes come from all over the country to have him perform knee surgeries. I'm pretty sure he did Shawn Johnson's.
But... he's about as cocky and arrogant as they get.
I had my hip replacement with Dr. Sullivan from DMOS, too, and I was very pleased. I also liked the nurse & secretary who work with him -- which to me is always a plus!
