Christmas--What are you buying the men in your life?
I am done shopping for all the ladies, but I have nothing for my brother, dad, and my sister's boyfriend. I need ideas! There is nothing they want or need (in my budget anyway) that they have said or that I can think of. Help!
Re: Christmas--What are you buying the men in your life?
I'm making a photo book for my dad of pictures we've taken since he's been back in Afghanistan [should probably finish that tomorrow]. I'm also getting him and my mom a canvas print of one of my fave pictures from a photo shoot we did in July [it's of him, my mom and JJ].
H is getting things he needs for deployment [he asked for a list of things for Christmas that he can take with him], a new pair of basketball shoes and a couple of shirts. We're paying for him to fly home from training, so he said he doesn't want much.
Not quite sure what to get my sister's boyfriend yet...maybe a video game.
Over the last couple of Christmases, H has received quite a few tools as gifts. We have no way to organize them, so I'm going to buy some tool boxes and storage containers and organize everything we have into one place.
There are other men I have to shop for. I haven't even begun to think about it.
Kevin is getting stuff pretty specific to him, but my brother is getting some Tupperware and Pyrex type stuff for his apartment and a video game. My BILs are getting a mix of video games, gaming chair, and running stuff.
We still have no ideas for Kevin's dad. He's the only person we really have left to buy for.
No. freaking. clue. Except for my FIL--he gets Omaha Steaks every year.
Some things that have been considered for various men ranging from DH to Dad include: fishing trips, TV, digital photo frame where other people can text or email photos directly to it (good if grown children live in various areas of the country), Texas Rangers stuff, tickets to sporting events, etc.
my bookshelf!
Bloggy
DH is getting a bunch of stuff for his new study, speakers for the covered patio for the new house and I got him a Nintendo 3DS that I'm sure he'll probably never use but just had to have.
My dad is getting a new shop vac and of all things a Tanya Tucker cd (que redneck music). He never ever gives ideas but this is what he said he wanted so this is what he's getting.
My brother is getting a gift certificate to a local accessories shop for a bedliner for his new truck.
My Step father n law is getting movies, and my father n law is just getting a family picture. He chooses to never come around and we haven't seen him in 2 years even though he lives about 30 minutes away. I figure this way, he can see what his son actually looks like at least.
Same here. Except last year was only the first of what shall hopefully be many years of Omaha Steaks.
