Today one of my kids stomped (literally) another kid because he took his bag of chips. Guess who has a mountain of paperwork now...

    An ambulance came, I think the kid needs at least stitches to his face. My student is facing a felony charge and expulsion. he was already on a pre-expulsion contract. Man I love my job sometimes, but today was not one of those days.

    This going to sound terrible, but the kid who got stomped is an aszhole. Did he deserve to get hurt that badly? No, but is anyone surprised that he got beat up? not really. both of the kids need to learn a hard lsson. I saw the kid with the paramedics, he was responsive, and embarassed. His face wasn't looking great, but I think he'll be fine in a few days.

    Ugh, I'd be pissed.

    I frequently tell my kids when they are doing stupid things that they need to knock it off because it is a lot of paperwork for me if they get hurt and that is going to annoy me...

    The students are both 16. the best part is thy both say it started as fun. Then the kid who did the hitting apparently felt insulted at some point. Love and Logic indeed. Im just glad I wasn't there when it happened.
