Re: Wii or XBox 360 Kinect?
BF has an Xbox, and while not many of the "regular" games are something that I'm completely into...we love the Kinect. The sports games are awesome and he bought A & L Kinectimals and they really love that as well. They each have their own pet and play whenever they are at his house.
Wii. We have it and E loves it. She is getting really good at it. Her favorites are the Dora games and Monkey Ball Banana Blitz.
I am going to get the Wii fit for me (if I don't get it for Christmas).
Also, we stream Netflix through our Wii and can get on the internet on our tv through it. Dh loves it for this.
We have the Wii and Playstation 3 with Move.
Look at the overall use. You will probably find more kid friendly games for the kids (their current age) on the Wii versus XBOX but your husband would love the XBOX more for adult games. The XBOX does have couple fun family games as does the Playstation3 which is also a great gaming system with the move.
Throw into the mix, PS3 is also a blue ray player along with netflix streaming and online game playing. Where Wii and XBOX does not play blue ray movies unless it has changed within the last 6 months. But they all stream netflix and XBOX also does online gaming.
