Go! Baby for $89.99

Not bad! I'm not sure if the clicky link will work since I'm on a Mac. I am Nest-illiterate when it comes to the Mac.

Re: Go! Baby for $89.99

  • The Go! Baby is so overpriced- you can get a Sizzix Big Shot/Kick for ~$60, and it will take the same 6" wide dies as the G!B- PLUS all the other brands out there (and all the 6" wide Sizzix dies, of course).

The G!B is so limited- it's die tray is too short to use any of the thicker Sizzix dies. I don't believe the G!B ships with cutting mats, either- which you'll obviously need (and kind of ridiculous to not include, IMO).

You'll need an extended (long) set of cutting mats for the Sizzix BS/BK if you want to use dies longer than their regular mats, but, it can slice right through 8 layers of fabric with the proper shimming and a good steel rule die.

  • I have a Silhouette, so I'm not interested in it for myself, just got this in an e-mail this morning and thought I'd share. :)

To make clicky on a Mac, highlight the text that you want linked, click the little chain icon (to the left of the smiley icon), paste the URL where it says Link URL and then click insert. (At least that's how I do it... someone else might have a simpler way?)

  • I want a sizzix just to cut felt for clippies--but then I think, I can buy them for less than the investment.  But I still want one!!

I think it is because I have pop ups blocked. Nothing was happening when I hit the link button! Thanks for reminding me!
