I made the chicken dumpling soup last night and that recipe is awesome. It's really easy and a one pot meal. If anyone has a hankering for chicken dumpling soup I highly recommend this recipe.
And I think I might have found my Christmas present from H. This was a complete accident, I swear! He saved an image of something that I would really like to his desktop and forgot to delete it. Either that or he's trying to throw me off his trail. This is, truly, the worst part about Christmas. I hate waiting.
I'm in meetings all morning, so I won't be back for a while.

Good morning. I've had a lingering headache for a couple of days and it's really annoying. Hopefully I can get it to go away.
My new oven was delivered yesterday and it is beautiful! Baked some cookies last night to break it in and it's a little different but I'll adjust.
I have meetings today and prep for a big meeting Friday. I hope I can get it done but I am so unmotivated.

UW - thanks for sharing that recipe! It looks amazing and I think I need to make it this week.
I'll likely work late tonight, then hit the gym w/ H. We talked yesterday and decided we're going to jump in with a challenge our local running store is doing where we will do some form of exercise every single day in the month of December. We both work out pretty regularly, but it's easy to be inconsistent this time of year. Hopefully that will keep us on track.

UW, I had a dream about you last night. So weird. I dreamed that I invited you over. You asked me what you could bring. I told you a sandwich. This was via email. I come to the board and see that you have written a post about how you don't want to come to my house and I'm making you bring something that you just aren't able to make, and that it's not easy for you to just get out of the house. I get a knock at my door and see you and your mom on beds being wheeled into my condo. You are both enormous. (Did you see that Dr. Phil that was on recently with the "heaviest woman alive" on it? That was like you.) I hope you are amused and not offended. I have never see you before, so know that I don't think you fat, just what my crazy mind came up with.
TTC #2 for a million years: SA normal, CD 23 bloodwork shows nothing amiss, ovulation detected. Next step: ? maybe CD3 bloodwork to check eggs? All out of pocket, so limited IF tests/treatments.

I'm so happy that today is my Thursday.. this week has been dragging. I left work early last night.. I couldn't hang any more. Quite a change from last week when I was there 2 nights in a row until midnight...

I'm waiting on my coworker to get in and debrief me on the speed dating event she went to last night. She's pretty much the only person I talk to at my office, so sometimes conversations with her are the highlight of my day.
I'm excited for tomorrow my lilttle brother and SIL are coming to town and I get to take my brother to his first professional football game!

Today is going to suck! We are supposed to get shipment Tuesdays, but we are getting it today. Since today is new comic book day, as soon as shipment arrives I have to get it done ASAP so people can buy the new stuff. And I am by myself. Grrr.. Also we usually don't get our normal shipment till about 6. Keep your fingers crossed it will get here sooner!

Today is my work baby shower. Yes, they waited until she was two and a half months old to throw me a baby shower, but hey, at least they're throwing me one. I'm grateful for that, at least. Hopefully she gets clothes because we're running low on stuff that fits...
DH found out one of this Christmas gifts yesterday, completely by accident. He was buying me a gift on Amazon, and we share his account because he has Prime. Well, he mistakenly ordered my gift to be shipped with my name on the box (we change shipping address names to prevent the other from opening the wrong box). I told him to delete the order and reorder it with the right name. Well, when he deleted the order, it took him back to the last thing ordered on the account - his Dark Knight Arkham City game that I got him on Cyber Monday. Whoops. He got all ashamed and let me know that he saw one of his gifts... I asked him what it was, and he tugged on my shirt, which was black. He was trying to tell me "Dark Knight", but I thought he meant the color of a knife handle - I had also gotten him a Shun slicer. I was SO upset that he found out his "big" gift, but thankfully I didn't say it out loud. Then he started talking about games and stuff, and I'm like, "Wait, what did you find?" And he said the game. I was so relieved! LOL I told him that yeah, it sucks he found that out, but I was so happy he didn't find the other one. LOL Now I just get to spend more money getting him something else. I think I'll get him the egg waffle pan from Williams-Sonoma.
