my imagination is going crazy.

This lady came into my office, with her daughter, looking for a therapist. There are no therapist in this building so she left. A few minutes later she came back with a paper that has our address and my suite number - the letter was dated last week. It was a letter from the counselor.. ..... I called the number & found out the counselor is part of the group that was in our office 2 years ago.. Really? You couldn't update your letterhead. that's a damn shame. So i told the office the patient came to our office because the letter she had has our address...

To make it worse, this was a court appointed therapy session, and the mom was worried she was going to be held in contempt of court because she was late - she kept saying, "i can't be held in contempt again."  ....oh my.

now i'm afraid i'm going to get subpoened or some *** because i saw the lady here. hiiii my imagination is bonkers.  --but the Mom did ask me to write a letter saying she was here. I said hell to the nizo .. and then she took a business card.

i'm not going to get a call over this, right? The lady probably wrote my name down.. i didn't tell her, but when i called the other dr I said this is Jena from .... ..

people are crazy

Re: my imagination is going crazy.

  • Ugh. I saw that one of my ex's got arrested (Again) for battery in Naples this month and I was like... I shiiiiiiiiii.... Am I going to get a call from some lawyer now? (There were issues with us, not battery related, but he was charged). Annoying.

I don't think you should, but if you get a call I think you could just (at most) issue a statement saying she was there, etc.

  • I've testified on behalf of an ex before.  I work in the field, so it's not a big deal to me.  ::shrug::  Don't worry about it.
