How are you feeling? Are you ready to do this? Less than 2 weeks, yes?

Re: JenD
Good point, JRM.
I think there also comes a point when you maybe are not totally ready but you're like, "F this. Enough is enough. I'm scared sh!tless but this kid has got to get out."
Haha, no, I'm not ready, but yes, this kid has got to get out. I am uncomfortable and this heartburn is killing me.
Officially, I am 38w3d.
Last week I spent a couple hours in L&D triage because at my weekly appt, my BP was elevated and I had some swelling in my legs and feet. Everything was alright, though, I did not enjoy the 24 hour urine collection I had to do. The comical part about it was that they wanted me to do it on Thanksgiving. 'Um yeah, can I store my pee in your fridge right next to the pie?' I was able to do it Friday though. I do have a UTI so now I've got to take penecillin.
Today I am 1cm dilated, 60% effaced. Doc forgot to mention that I might bleed after her checking so it was totally awesome to discover bright red blood in my underwear when I went to the bathroom.
Other than that, nothing else to report!

I had to do this around 38 weeks and my boss was mad that I took the day off for it. I said, not only do I not feel comfortable walking through the office with my toilet bucket and the urine container but I'm pretty sure people won't appreciate my pee in the lunchroom fridge next to their food. He was such a jerk.
Good luck over the next few weeks, I hope it all goes smoothly! Is your intuition telling you girl or boy?
Oh this. Didn't happen the first time I was checked, but it happened the second. Good thing they gave me a paper on L&D which said this is totally normal and not to call them. DH talked me off the ledge when I called him saying I thought I was in labor after my appointment.
It didn't happen again, if that's any consolation.
S - had it been a regular work day, I definitely would have taken off work too!
I think it's a girl, L thinks it's a boy, as do most people. We shall see!

Aw you look great! I love the wall decal and the wall color. Yay for gray walls in nurseries!
You did a great job with the nursery, it looks so cute...and so do you! I'm going to guess girl.
Love it!! And you look great.
You look wonderful! I love the wall decal too.
I'm going to guess girl. I have no idea why.
Thanks all. I had a huge weight gain over the last 4 weeks so the belly almost appeared out of nowhere.
Re: wall decals - I suggest only having a patient person help you put them on the wall. My child was almost left fatherless...

Aww, Jend you look great.
The nursery turned out great. Love the decal.
Dude, you look great!
I agree about the wall decal. Mine took me over 4 hours to apply. Didn't even bother asking Big Lar. Did it on my own.
And I love the nursery! I have an obsession with grey walls in the nursery. Looks great.
Have you shared what your name choices are?
Thanks. The wall is actually Warm Gray Flannel and has a slight purple tint to it. The other three walls are a pale buttery yellow, like french vanilla ice cream.
Names: Jack Lucas or Zoe Evelyn
