Need gift basket ideas
I volunteered to donate a gift basket for a local fundraiser. Approx $50-$75 bucks.
What do you think would be popular at an auction?
I guess I could always buy a kindle but I wanted to be creative.

Think of a theme: be it sports, movies, etc. You could do a family 4 pack for tickets to the RiverRink and include scarves and gloves or decadent hot chocolates and a nice thermos. How about tickets to a Philadelphia Wings LAX game with a tshirt?

admission to a local museum for 2 with a gift cert to a restaurant/pub close by
beach bag, towels, sunblock, small gift card to barnes and noble for some summer reading
Will it be before Christmas? I was thinking about a cookie themed basket. You could do a cookie press gun, some cookie cutters, a slipat mat, a cookie sheet, some pretty colored sugars or sprinkles.

I don't know how much it would be but 4 tix to a family place like Sesame Place, the Zoo, Please Touch etc
Off topic, but I remember Preston from Preston & Steve talking about how it was almost $300 in admission fees for his family of 5 (2 adults/3 kids) to go to Sesame Place. Crazy!

These are great ideas. now I'm excited again!
You could hit up TJ Maxx or Home Goods for all kinds of fun food items if you were going to mix kitchen tools with snacks. Actually, you could get all your kitchen tools there too, plus some nice kitchen towels.

For the Kindle- what about an Amazon gift card and a Kindle cover in the basket?
My brother won a basket of Melaleuca cleaning supplies at an event and gave it to me. It has really come in handy. Mrs. Meyers has on their website a bundle that is $25.00 that comes with a lot of stuff, and then you can maybe add some other cleaning products, cleaning cloths, a dustpan, sponges, trashbags, etc.
I also like the idea of the cooking/kitchen basket. You could do an Italian theme with pasta, sauces, herbs, wooden spoon, Italian themed kinick-knacks for the kitchen, etc. I always find lots of cute kitchen items at Ross.
