S/O tell me about your tattoos & piercings
WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO YOUR BODY?!?!
I mean, how have you amplified your beauty with alterations in the form of holes and permanent ink?

Re: S/O tell me about your tattoos & piercings
Do body piercings count if I've taken them out? I had my belly button and tongue pierced in my college years, but took them both out several years ago.
I do have one tattoo.
Ok, you know about the nose. As far as piercings go, I've got both traguses done, one hole per lobe that I'm contemplating stretching, two microdermal anchors under my collarbone, and both nipples pierced. I used to have my navel pierced, but I took that out years ago, and I used to have an industrial in my right ear, but I just removed that.
Tattoos: I have a large back piece. It's a black and grey phoenix with cherry blossoms. I have an ouroborous on my left side, an eye of Ra on my right ankle, a celtic trampstamp (shut up, it was 1997!), and shooting stars on my feet, which I hate and need to cover up.
So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past.
I (still) have my belly button pierced. I am the last one standing of all of my friends by YEARS. I still play with it when I am nervous though!
I have two tattoos. Oh what I wouldn't give to get them removed...
I used to have 3 holes in my ears, now I am down to two.
I don't have any unusual piercings (pretty sure the top of my right ear doesn't qualify) or tattoos at the moment, but I'm planning on getting a tattoo. It's my identity-crisis-divorced-lady thing that I want to do for me -- I have one picked out, I just haven't gone to do it yet, want to make 100% sure it's what I want before I pull the trigger.
ZeldaFitz, please tell me about the tragus. How bad was it?
I've got a total of 12 piercings. Both ear lobes, triple forward helix on my right ear and a plain ol cartilage piercing on that side as well. Industrial in the left ear. Nose piercing. Nipples and a hood piercing. The hood actually hurt the least and healed the fastest.
I've got a small tattoo on my foot and a medium-sized tattoo on my back. I will likely get at least one more tattoo.
My most recent tragus was a breeze; it barely stung at all. The first one was another story, but I think the piercer was somehow impaired. It was kind of a nightmare, though it healed nicely. If you go to someone good, you should have no issue.
So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past.
Piercings: I've had 5 in my left ear (up to a regular cartilidge) but currenly only wear one earring - and one in my right (but there were two there previously). I just got the triple forwad helix in my left ear. I have my belly button done - thought about taking it out but it just looks so weird to me now after 12+ years. I had my bottom belly button done too for about a year. I also had my left nipple done for about 5 years back in college.
Ink: first tattoo is a sun&moon on my toe - reps my cousin and I. Second are on my hips in black; one side says 'only live once' the other side says 'live for you' - clearly a 20 year old philosopher lol. Third is on my right rib / lower armpit area and is a circle made of 6 moorean turles. My XH and I got matching tattoos on our honeymoon in Moorea - turtles mean love and six was our number. Awesome idea lol!
I had my tongue pierced when I was in college. Cracked a couple of teeth and still have a small hole where it used to be (it's been about 10 years since I took it out).
Other than that, and a hole in each ear, I'm au naturale. I'm a total prude when it comes to tattoos.
I have 3 tattoos: A moon on my lower back I got when I was 18 and 2 celtic stars over my ovary area (sounds strange, but they're cute) that I got when I was 21. I like them all...I was really tempted to get another one on the side of my foot after the divorce..but have held off.
I'd get "Ishvarna Pradnihana" which is a yoga principle meaning "submit yourself to a higher power"...sort of "throw your hands up in the air and just let what will be will be".
I have pierced ears and tattoo on my shoulder. Its the symbol of the International Wenches Guld (iwg.org) We are a group of women who have a love of the renaissance faire. During a hard time several years ago they kept telling me "You are a wench, you are strong, you will get through this." I did, just as I am getting through this divorce. I got the tattoo as a constant reminder of that.
My next tattoo will be representing my son
I had both nostrils pierced, monroe, both tragus, two holes in each ear, first holes stretched to a 4gauge, and lower lip.
I have 5 tattoos. Getting my 6th very soon.
Here is a picture of my tattoo:
I have pierced my ears and belly button.
I have a large tattoo that takes up half of my back. It is a mermaid scene.
i went a little crazy with the piercings in college, i had 23:
10 in and around my navel
2 in each nipple
3 down there
3 in my eye brows
2 in my tonge
1 in each ear
5 tattos:
panther: inner thigh
tribal: lower back
fox: front/left hip
greek letters (meaning empress): down left side of my back
lily: right rib cage
Yes I have one dragon tattoo on my shoulder which looks very great on me. I am a big fan of drawing tattoo on body it is best way to express your creativity and feeling by using the way of tattoo art.
