Can someone please explain to me specifically how a baby-sitter is paid using a FSA?
I've used a FSA for health care but never for child care. Would I need to submit claims for reimbursement? Would my baby-sitter have to provide me with some kind of receipt? What kind of personal ID information would I need from her? Would I be forcing her to claim this income on her taxes if I submit her SS# (she probably wouldn't otherwise, as she only works part time for us)?
*Oops, wrong board!

My Valentine Bookends (2~13~13, 2~15~09)
I don't think it covers baby-sitters for you to go to dinner and such. It is for extended care while you are at work, school, etc.
Yes, you need a social to submit a claim and they have to claim it on their taxes.
