this is what i thought, too...but i figured i was just wrong since nobody else said anything......
and aren't turtle doves birds too? how come they didn't make the list? and a partridge in a pear tree? a partridge is a bird, right?

1) Doesn't matter if you don't like birds, you have to choose! It's a "would you rather" style.
2) I skipped partridge and turtle doves because I felt like it and to keep the options smaller for Jenn's charts.
3) It's Collie, which is an old word meaning "black." People misheard it as calling (and collie has run out of usage) so it's frequently written that way.
I think calling birds sound more exciting than blackbirds, anyway
Best sound ever: baby's heartbeat! (Heard @ 10w1d)
I've learned something new today. Can I go home now?
Same here! I had no idea that it was 'collie'. That's really cool!
Glad I read the comments before voting; I'd've totally going for calling birds (pretty!), but now I have to think about it.
...In conclusion, I think I'd go for the hens. They'd eventually lay some eggs. And if not, I'd have chicken soup.
Regardless, geese and swans are MEAN, man.
