Adding crown moulding to cabinets?

Our kitchen cabinets do not have any moulding at the top of them and I was thinking about adding it.  I wouldn't have too many cuts to make (just 6 corners total) so I was thinking it can't be that difficult.  Anybody have any experience with that?  We have just the builder color oak, can I get moulding to match that?

Re: Adding crown moulding to cabinets?

  • I don't know about the molding to match....but I would think you could at least buy oak and stain to match if necessary.  My DH has cut and installed all of our moulding and it was a bit tedious to get the cuts just right...so I suggest you take your time and clear your schedule for the weekend to get it done.
