Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Two things are making me stabby today.
1. H's class is into cross-countries and H and 3 other guys are going this weekend. Two of their wives are all "OMG my hubby's going to be gone for sooooo long! WTF will I doooooo?!?!?" all over FB. Seriously? It's 60 hours. Not a big deal. Am I weird that I look forward to his short trips like this? I can get whatever takeout I want without worrying about what he wants. I can stay up late and watch stupid, girly TV without worrying about disturbing him. I mean, I love him (of course) but a few days to myself every now and then is nice.
2. A girl I went to HS with broke up with her BF when he moved to South Korea in September for an exchange teacher program. She immediately started dating another guy and now they are sooo in luuuurve. She put up a pic on FB of the two of them kissing and she's grabbing his face with a big ol' rock on her left ring finger. Instead of announcing that they are engaged, she keeps reposting the photo waiting for someone to ask if they are. Someone finally did this morning and she was all "OMG how'd you know? I guess our secret is out!" Gah.

If you're weird then so am I. I loved my alone weekends when H went cross-country. I stayed up late watching shows on Netflix and ate ice cream for dinner. It's like a treat. I'm looking forward to having some alone time when he goes to survival soon.
And lol at that girl. It's hilarious to me when everyone ignores the FB attention whore.
I'm glad my H's new job has lots of TDYs. LOL. I'm weird. And I'm stabby as well. A second pregnancy announcement on fb has me banging my head against the wall. I feel bad for both of them.
ETA: Holy eff. The one girl took a bump picture at 4 weeks 1 day. I don't know if I can do this.
K's niece's BF left a few weeks ago for BMT for the MC (or whatever the proper title is for them) and posts EVERY day about how much she loves and misses him and XX amount of days until he comes home. >barf<
She is 17 and in HS and the just started dating about 2 mos. before he left.
I may have to block her posts for a little while.
1) You're not weird. I love alone time. Even though K just returned I'm looking forward to this Saturday when she is going out for most of the day by herself. Couch and crappy reality tv - here I come!
2) Some people just lack maturity.
The fact that my movers just called to "let me know" they won't be here until Friday. The required delivery date is Thursday. Normally I would just let this slide but I have a new patient OB appointment on Friday afternoon and tried to reschedule it and they are booked through January.
I also don't know anyone in the area yet so I can't have someone else come and hang out while the movers unpack.
The only thing that is keeping me from killing someone is that the TMO office said that after the movers finish unloading my stuff and pull away they will contact the company and let them know that they are suspended from getting any shipments (not sure for how long).
