It was EXTREMELY difficult to get out of bed on Monday. The lady teaching the class is super nice though but I thought I was going to die. I know this sounds awful, but I don't think I have done that much activity in one hour since PE in middle school. We lifted weights and did cardio. The weights didn't bother me but the cardio killed me.
I felt okay yesterday.
We had our second class this morning and I want to die. We started the class by running - the instructor was holding this pool noodle and would hit the butts of the people not running "fast enough." It was a hoot. Just when I thought I would die, she let us warm down and get some water. We then did weight stations which was great - but anything related to the stomach killed me. I am EXTREMELY sore today - when I left class I went back to bed for another hour which was NOT a good idea - but even little tasks like typing make my entire body ache with pain. Class was MUCH easier today than Monday - I think Monday was such a shock to my system but I was more mentally prepared for it today.
Anyhoo...I have taken before pictures..I am hoping that after two or three months of boot camp I am bikini ready....
Re: I have been going to bootcamp and want to talk about it.
Being that sore is awesome, but it sucks at the same time. My LEGS are always what hurts. Do you ever "roll out?" http://dhfonline.net/articles/Foam%20Rolling.pdf Doing this after an intense workout helps SO MUCH the next day. It makes my muscle soreness almost completely gone.
I agree! I love, love, LOVE my foam roller! You can get them for pretty cheap at Walmart, Target, Academy, etc.

I've heard about foam rolling and want to try, but I never knew how. Besides the link Blinking posted, any good tips on how to do it?
