Re: Sigh... :(

  • Haha. I read this earlier. Do you think it is mainly because old people are cranky and young people a cranky because old people drive like cranky old people? :P
  • Maybe.  I think it is partially because we simply spend entirely too much time driving in general, and not enough time actually being outside and getting fresh air.

  • I am sad because it is too hot for too long to spend a lot of time outside. :(
  • Me too.  How in the eff did people live here before indoor AC?  There was probably less cement back then.  I'm sad that you have to wear shoes in the grass here because of fire ants.  But I'm happy I found lots of places to mountain bike that are shaded and fun places to take the baby so she can feel the air on her face, all be it hot air.

True!  When I go home (Northern NY near Canada) I breath as much as possible.  I try to create a reserve.

LOL. I do this when we go to Rome, GA. It is so nice in the mountains up there in the winter. I hope we get snowed in.

  • I think its funny Providence, RI was graded a D- while Boston got a B+. I find providence a much more pleasurable place to be. Boston makes me down right foul.

  • I think part of it is the economy.  We moved down from Raleigh and I can see a huge difference.  Central and S. Florida is so economically depressed, the job market sucks, the housing market sucks, the commutes are terrible, so I can totally see why FL has so many cities ranked high.  sigh for sure.
  • Gee, every city I have lived in is on the list and of them New Orleans was the least depressing?!  Time to move to Hawaii
