Yeah, I shipped my person a gift through amazon, and since I have a prime account it was free 2 day shipping. So no shipping costs for me! I hope your costs aren't too bad!
My person didn't leave much to the imagination, they asked for very specific things instead of just saying what type of things they liked. They wanted a DVD (inglorious bastards [spelled incorrectly so i get through big brother]) and mint chocolate. So that's what I got them... BORING! I wanted to stalk someone and figure out a perfect gift. Oh well...
Someone should have fun figuring out what to get me though! This is what I said in my likes and dislikes category:
Likes: cooking, quilting, wine, technology, science, puzzles, movies, music, the outdoors, fun in general!
Dislikes: I'm pretty easy to please!
I'm curious to see what I get! I keep checking back to see if my secret santa has shipped anything yet, but they haven't

I am late to answer sorry. Stupid work gets in the way of me nesting....
Anyways I got a guy who just said he wanted something he couldn't find in his local shop. So I bought him salsa, BBQ sauce, Hershey's Chocolate Santas, Reese's Peanut Butter Trees, Chili Mix and Corn Bread Mix. I think its fun because its all Texas stuff but be honest is it lame??
And if its lame ideas please haha
I don't think that's lame at all Shannon! Maybe just as an added "theme" gift, you could throw in a little something that has "Texas" on it, or a shape of the state, etc.
