Poll: Holiday shopping (and Keurig question)
Aside from negotiating with DH on his Christmas gift I am almost done my Christmas shopping! The only problem is DH and my family are asking what I want this year and I really have no idea. I kind of want a Keurig, but I'm worried about space and I've never used one before. I love the idea of having chai tea and iced tea whenever I want though. Other than that I have no idea.

How far along are you with your holiday shopping? I have everyone done except for my husband. I may get my sisters something from Dylan but haven't decided yet. We usually just do kids.
Who is the hardest person to shop for? What are you getting that person this year? My husband is the hardest to shop for. I have only gotten him one thing so far which is protective chaps for when he is cutting down firewood. Other than that I have no idea. I want to at least get him one more thing.
What are you getting your SO? See above.
What is on your wish list? Nothing much this year. I just have no ideas as to what I want. I would be happy with Amazon gift cards, some of the Tom Hanks movies that I don't have yet ( I collect his movies), some paper and ink for my photo printer and other than that nothing else I can think of. I need clothes but not until after I lose baby weight. I feel that every Christmas that goes by I can't think of anything I want or need.
How far along are you with your holiday shopping? I am about 50% done. I get paid on Friday and I hope to finish most of it by next week.
Who is the hardest person to shop for? What are you getting that person this year?My MIL. I have Brian deal with that. I am done "figuring out"what she wants.
What are you getting your SO?we are on a limited budget so I got him some new boxers, new shirts and some gold prospecting items.
What is on your wish list? I really would like a new vacuum and some fitness related items.
How far along are you with your holiday shopping?About 20%, but I know pretty much what I will be getting everyone except the dads and my mom.
Who is the hardest person to shop for? My BIL. He has no real hobbies or cool interests anything, so he's hard. What are you getting that person this year? This year we are giving him a couple St. Louis Cardinals books. For two reasons: 1. they won the World Series and he's a fan and 2. because he made the mistake of telling me he will not read because everything he wants to know he can watch (and I'm a biotch like that
).
What are you getting your SO? Some date night type clothes, a few books, and a new coat (which I already gave him for our trip and is mostly his b-day present, which is in December). I'm debating a GPS for the car or a running watch. I can't decide which. Currently we share a watch, which is annoying, but the car GPS would be really useful for his officiating.
What is on your wish list? A sewing machine, the Outlander books, the Harry Potter blu-ray set, and a Harry Potter film book.

How far along are you with your holiday shopping? Half done. I only buy for DH and my secret elf in my family`s secret santa. This year I have my sister.
Who is the hardest person to shop for?My grandma. What are you getting that person this year? I`m going to make a recipe/ joke/story book with her and have it printed as a hardcover scrapbook.
What are you getting your SO? A sign and a set of beer mugs that say "Jonathan's Man Cave" and some stocking stuffer beer/wine/cocktail type stuff.
What is on your wish list? Grey's Anatomy DVDs, hair accessories, yummy teas, and a messenger bag I can use for coaching.

How far along are you with your holiday shopping? Maybe about 1/3 done, but I still have ideas that need to be purchased.
Who is the hardest person to shop for? What are you getting that person this year? My SIL is impossible usually, but we got her (and her bf) a groupon to go ziplining. (And we bought it in September!)
What are you getting your SO? A date night in NYC on NYE and a bunch of stocking stuffers. So far I have a cigar cutter, some k-cups for work and a key with the Giants emblem on it.
What is on your wish list? A sillouette (sp?) crafting machine, some dress pants for work, black riding boots....2012 Reading Challenge
How far along are you with your holiday shopping? I haven't started, except for somehair clips I got Elena at a craft show. I am not in the mood yet.
Who is the hardest person to shop for? What are you getting that person this year? This depends. I drew BIL for our secret Santa, that might be difficult.

What is on your wish list? A Kelly Moore (MiMi) camera bag which I doubt I'll be getting, an external hard drive for my computer, a Levenger circa notebook (a beautiful plum leather one), and gift cards.
FWIW, I think you should get a Keurig. I wasn't much of a coffee drinker, but I LOVE mine and use it every single day. I just used to it make hot chocolate

What are you getting your SO? We bought each other a Keurig. (which is amazing, btw, and takes up about the same amount of space as a regular coffeemaker. We just put our coffeemaker in storage for now.) I'm also going to get him some new slippers and a few small things for his stocking. We are also going to Indianapolis this weekend for the Big 10 Championship Game!
What is on your wish list? My parents always give us money so we already bought two new laptops. Aside from that, we asked for some things for the baby.

How far along are you with your holiday shopping? Pretty close to done. I at least have ideas for most people and they are easy to get.
Who is the hardest person to shop for? Usually my dad. What are you getting that person this year? He was actually pretty easy this year. We are getting him a "golf game" that is similar to bean bags. He will like it.
What are you getting your SO? Not sure if we are doing gifts yet ... he won't answer me.
But I have gotten him a couple things he needs anyway, shirts, sleep pants, a new coat (for $17 from Old Navy!!!) and a couple DVDs.

I like thinking of gifts to give people, or overhearing them mention they want something rather than being like, "what do you want?" I feel like that takes all the fun out of it. Yes, I bring it on myself, haha.
What are you getting your SO? He wanted a Kindle, but since that was more than we wanted to spend someone else is getting it for him and I'm getting him a cover for it.
What is on your wish list? I just really wanted a new camera. It is on the expensive side, so my parents and grandmother might go in on it if they can, or will give me money towards it (but I think my mom will make it happen because I said I wanted a new camera and she said she'd buy it for me but I told her it was way too much for her to spend on me). DH is going to get my a case for it. I told MIL a GC to Target or Kohls is good for maternity clothes in the next few months (plus I can always find something to buy at these stores since they have a wide variety of products).
