Happy 1st day of December! WTF? Ha. Christmas is just 24 days away.
So, as some of you saw on FB last night, I found the Christmas card snowmen. I quickly apologized, Derek was mostly just happy that we'd found them, and we moved on. Now I'm extra glad I didn't say the things that were in my head the night before.
Tonight no big plans. I'm taking tomorrow off and we've got the big ultrasound at 10:30. After that I plan on baking some fun gender reveal cupcakes to bring up to a party this weekend.

Last night B and I went to dinner with my parents and picked up the dog. Then it was straight home to bed. Hopefully no more jet lag today.
Today will once again be busy at work, followed by a networking event and then Greys. Hope everyone has a good day.
Raynes - any votes for what you think it is? I'm voting boy, mainly because it seems to be the trend with the nesties lately.
I'm back at work today after sleeping through yesterday at home with this stupid cold. It was so nice to just curl up in bed while the bub was at daycare. I had to miss a girl's night out, though, which bummed me out. I figured that if I couldn't taste the food, then it probably wasn't worth paying for it.
Excellent news: I got a 2nd interview with the law firm my BFF works at. Essentially, as long as the other partners don't hate me, the job is mine. They're looking for a commitment before they fire their other secretary. Fingers crossed! It will also be an upgrade in pay, so I'm looking forward to that for sure. Now just to get some news before my boss leaves on vacation for the rest of the calendar year. Looking to start the new place January 1st I think.

We started getting some of the items we bought on line last night, and I'm so happy with my 60% off new Frye boots! I've needed new boots for ages, and I love a good deal.
Tonight we should get the rest of the stuff delivered, and then we have to finish off our holiday cards and pack. We have a leaving party tomorrow night for friends and we fly out Saturday morning, so not too much time left to get everything done.
And I also can't believe it's December. Although I loved being able to start opening my advent calendar!

Morning ladies.
After the boys went to bed, I finally got to finish up Season 5 Disc 1 of Dexter. Oh how I LOVE that show.
This morning I have woken up with the cold that Christian gave to Zach, and now Zach gave to me. Not Good. DH is working all weekend, and now if I am sick I won't be able to whine about it. Ugh.
Raynes good luck with your u/s tomorrow. I'm guessing girl, only because I think we are overdue for a girl on this board.
That's guys! I honestly have no idea what it could be. I don't really have any feeling either way. I'm still banking on velociraptor.
The snowmen were hiding in the top drawer of this plastic organizer thing we have in the family room. In all honesty I probably put them there. Damn pregnancy brain.
As soon as I opened up the bag and put it on the floor, Chloe climbed right in and started chewing on them. Silly kitty.

Good morning. I am tired today. Josh got home late, and we ended up talking until 1am. We talked about some pretty important stuff so it's good, but I'm dragging this morning. I think I'm going to go home and throw myself into bed.
Today will be kind of busy at work--I have some stuff I definitely need to get done, and I'm in meetings from 1pm on.

Not much new here. Today will be a typical day for me. After work I'm having a Top Chef catch up/wine night. I think we have 3 episodes watch. I'm looking forward to it. It will be nice to get out of the house for a girl's night.
Good luck! About the bolded part, they asked me at work what they thought I was having I said well, I'm thinking girl, but 50% of me says boy - I know that it's NOT a velociraptor. Mark thinks a velociraptor would be great, though!
Today should be a really busy day at work. I work until 6pm and then I'm on call. I can see the on call pharmacist last night got 8 pages so I'm hoping tonight is the opposite. I need to go pick up my jeans at the seamstress and make up lunches for the work weekend and wash sheets on the extra bed and do cleaning around the house. One of our former pharmacists is coming down for our Christmas party this weekend and she's staying at our place! I can't wait. Too bad I have to work.

Good morning! Last night I went to my first spin class in 2+ years and I kept moving through the whole thing and I didn't die, but my azz hurts so bad this morning that I need one of those donut pillows.
Today is a short work day for because Jim and I have a date to watch the National Tree Lighting and then we are going to dinner at 901, which looks delicious. I'm just waiting for 3:00 p.m.
I've got the camera, so hopefully I have some pictures for my blog tomorrow. I've had a posting spurt this week.

Tonight I have some cleaning to do since my bff and her kids are coming over tomorrow night to make and paint christmast ornaments and exchange gifts. We let our kids exchange gifts early so we don't have to worry about trying to make a date closer to christmas.
DH is working tonight so it will just me and the boys. I am taking a long lunch today to go look a a house DH found and fell in love with. I have my fingers crossed that I will love it as much as he does. We weren't planning to buy for at least another a year, but this house is perfect and good priced so we figured we will at least go look at it.
Good morning! Last night was low key, I did some grocery shopping, made some cookies and read. Dh worked late and got home at 9. So very lazy there.
Tonight I hope to go to the mall, scope out some Christmas presents and just enjoy being out and about.
I also need to call a theater and make reservations for a show. I have tickets I bought on living social.com to see a Christmas story by David Sedaris turned into a play. The story made me laugh out loud so I hope the play is just as good.

This week has really flown by. DH is still working on final papers for school so I've been trying to keep busy outside of the house so I don't become a distraction. I can't wait till he is done, I really want my husband back.
Today after work I am planning to stop by a few thrift stores and try to find tack Christmas sweaters for a party we are going too....I also thought it would be fun to wear them for pictures with Santa. If we do get a photo I'll post it up here.
Not much going on here. It's a pretty quiet day because we've had winds around 95-100 mph and it has shut down part of the city. No wind at my house though, weird..
I got a ton of homework done last night and I'm hoping to do the same tonight, other than that no plans.

Good morning! Last night was uneventful, we ordered some Chinese and watched a little tv. This morning we woke up to a couple inches of snow and it's supposed to keep snowing all day. I was over an hour late to work this morning and when I got here my boss told me a should have just worked from home.....now you tell me! Errrr!
Today was LONG! I got up at 4:30 to get my run in, had a busy day at school including having to file a report with Child Services and having my kids completely bomb an assignment (which now we will be redoing tomorrow--clearly we don't understand sequencing and need some more direct instruction), and then a meeting until 4:30 this evening to plan next Monday's inservice.
Now Ed and I are going out to dinner and then we'll just hang out for the rest of the evening.

Hey ladies! I'm relaxing all day today and starting to transfer old VHS home movies on to DVDs for my mom. It's so fun watching all of this footage from my childhood.
The interviews yesterday went REALLY well, much better than the one Tuesday. I have a preference for one agency over the other, but I would be happy to move to the next stage with either of them. I should find out next week if I got to the next round of interviews, keep your fingers crossed!
Now jumping domestically.

Today I did all my nestie secret santa shopping though, I'm so excited to ship my things this weekend. I hope she likes it all!
