AW & F/U: Ribbon on cabinets

I figured I may as well start with what's cheap and on-hand, and if it doesn't work, then start exploring other options. I looked at various adhesives and stuff in the 3M section at Target, but I was already spending enough money (letting DD loose in the holiday section=bad idea).

So here's my tester cabinet! I just put it up and there's a whole lotta Scotch tape on the back of the door. I'm going to see how it holds throughout the day and, if it holds up, go ahead and do some more of the cabinet doors.  The bow's a little smaller than I had envisioned, but in the interest of cheapness. I'm sticking with what I've got. And anything larger will be harder to secure. As it is I struggled with this one - I need to do some trouble shooting.
