I know this has been discussed at length in the other thread, but seriously, the best child-bearing age is when you are in a stable, happy relationship, satisfied with your job and career prospects, and have a home suitable to bring a child into. Having a child is quite a bit more than a medical event.
I suppose you can't deny that something like 25-27 is the "best" child-bearing age based on an aggregation of medical studies, but these geniuses aren't stopping to think that maybe 35 is, like, 97% as good as 25, not 2% as good.
It was just interesting to see how another culture handles the whole thing. I have a couple of friends who were born in the US to Chinese parents (all have at least a Bachelors, none were married in their before 29) so I've really seen the Chinese vs. US expectation of women clash up close.
