Rusty got front row tickets for the Kansas Jayhawks bball game tonight and I hope he asks me to go with him!
I wish it wouldn't be frowned upon for napping at my desk.
I wish it was at least 10 degrees warmer outside.
I wish for my acceptance letter to be waiting in my mailbox for me today when I check at 2:30. That would be fantastick.
I also wish my paper would write itself.

I wish I could get Mackenzie to nap during the day for more than 20 minutes at a time.
I wish a magic snow fairy would come and shovel my sidewalk and driveway for me (that, by the way, is very difficult to do when it is cold out side and you are home alone with a little one who doesn't nap!)
I wish B wasn't so stressed and busy. I think he has taken on too much this year, but doesn't know how to say no or back out of some of his obligations.
I'm wishing that I don't die when I start bootcamp tomorrow with my sister. It's been a LOOONNNGGGG time since I've done any "real" working out.
I wish my students would become more self-sufficient.
I wish my students would know appropriate language for emails to professionals. "Mz.," "weaksauce," and "haha" after every sentence really gets on my nerves.
I wish DH would find a job with flexible hours and great pay.
I wish we had enough money saved up that I could work part-time.
I wish DH and I could go on a tropical vacation.
I wish I didn't have to go to a wake tonight and that I wasn't so sensitive b/c I know I'm going to cry the whole time.

my sister would stop making comments about how/when she thinks the baby will arrive. it's getting annoying and last night I told her if she didn't quit talking about it I was going to stop calling her.
I get all my loose ends tied up at work. I will feel so much better once its all done and I have to leave.
E and I will continue having fun outings together. I know once the baby arrives it will drop dramatically and I like the time we're spending together.
I wish I didn't have to go to class today.
I wish Brin would get over his cold quickly.
I know two good babysitters (and one man who will pretend) who will be in your area in January if you and Edgar need a night out!

ha! My Sister already has the job so we can go out together! I'm not missing nestie bestie time at all.
I wish I wasn't shopping for a convertible car seat, again. Our MyRide65 is going back to Graco thanks to some issues that can't be resolved. I hate shopping for baby stuff when there is 349045 options.
I wish for this whole "I wanna buy your house" thing to work out. We negotiated a little bit last night and the buyer is being more flexible than we thought. If things work out, we may have this sucker sold in the next 2 months and be able to rent it from the buyer for a month additional until we are ready to move, woohoo!
I wish wee man would either be snuggly or not. He's doing this weird pick me up, now put me down, repeat 20,000 times/day thing. At least I'm getting some rocking biceps from it.
I wish my phone would stop randomly turning itself off and on.

I wish it wasn't so gosh darn hot in my office today. I've been freezing Monday and yesterday so I wore a cardi today and had to take it off this morning. Someone definitely messed with the thermostat.
I wish the weekend would hurry up and get here. I'm ready for a weekend of not much planned.
I wish R would change the Christmas lights outside. I think our house looks goofy with blue icicle lights and multi-colored lights around the garage, front door and windows. Apparently all white lights are "boring" to some people =

I wish DH would remember to take out the garbage on Wednesdays and actually get out of bed early enough to do it because I'm do rushed in the morning I have no time.

My wish came true too! My letter arrived with good news this afternoon.

It's still Wednesday sooooo here I go...
I wish I could meet someone to fall in love with... I'm tired of being single and dating guys I'm just "eh" about...
I wish my clothes would put themselves away. I'm pretty good at keeping my house cleaned but laundry is my downfall... my most HATED chore!
On that note, I wish my papers would grade themselves and magically be in my gradebook.... that's one of my least favorite parts of my job.
My wish kind of came true, well 2 of them anyway. I had a little chat with the student who emails me "Mz. S___" and uses terms like weaksauce lol about appropriate emails to academic professionals vs. emails to friends, and I also managed to hold it together at the wake. I teared up when I hugged his widow and saw his pregnant daughters and all of the pictures of him and his family, but I didn't bawl like I thought I would. It might have been b/c there was over an hour wait (standing in line) to get to see his family.
Now if only my other wishes would come true lol
