I just paid off my line of credit!
I've had this thing hanging over my head since I finished university back in 2007, so it feels ah-mazing to have it gone. I managed to pay nearly half of it off this year, which is an awesome feeling. This essentially frees up $1000 a month for us.
Now that I don't have to deal with this anymore, I guess it's time Derek and I fully combined our bank accounts. Craziness.

We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?

I've still got about $5k left in my provincial student loan, but it's a really reasonable interest rate and at the (low) rate I'm paying that one off, it'll be gone in 2 years. Perhaps it's time to bump that one up too!
Damn education and it's expenses!

Great job! That is a huge accomplishment.
We started paying on DH's student loans in June, and have 10 years to go. Once we are in a better financial situation I am going to work on getting those paid off asap!
Now jumping domestically.
Well that was a crazy couple of years.
