Rec your gyno

I currently use Annapolis OBGYN in Waugh Chapel and I dislike my doctor. I'd be willing to try another doc in the practice, maybe.

Any other AACO recs? Near Meade. Columbia area or Ellicott City might be ok too.

Re: Rec your gyno

  • I use Chesapeake Women's Care, one of the other big practices in Annapolis besides the one you're currently seeing.  They have an office in Waugh Chapel too. I've seen 2 of their doctors and am trying a 3rd in a week.  I've been very pleased, but I've just used the gyn, not ob.

  • I swear that someone recently did this same exact post.  I use Capital Womens Care in Maple Lawn.  They are great.  They've helped me through some trying times lately.  I highly recommend them
  • Another rec for CWC. Dr. Keith delivered DD and I've been pretty pleased all around. I'm not a fan of one of the Dr.s, but others have no problem with him.

  • I love my doc.  Lori Sweitzer.  She's at AAMC.

  • I use Chesapeake Womens Care in Waugh Chapel too, and have been happy. At least, the two times a year I go is fine. I've been to their annapolis office, too, it's nice.

  • I go to Johns Hopkins OBGYN and I LOVE them.  Dr. Grundy and Dr. Leak joined after I already had DD so I never saw them, but I adore all of the other docs, especially Dr. Rojas (he did my c section and did an amazing job) and Dr. Kwong who is the sweetest woman ever.

  • I go to the Women's Ob-Gyn Group in columbia  and I absolutely love them.  I dont have a specific doctor there anymore (I used to see one of their NPs but she left after having her second child I believe) but I have never seen a doctor that I don't like or had any problems with.  I'm seeing them now during my pregnancy and so far it's been nothing but a positive experience.  They are right across from Howard Community College. They are a very busy practice which I guess is my one complaint - it can take a while to get an appointment for your annual checkup if you want to see a specific doctor.

for gyn, Dr. Brandon is probably my favorite; she no longer does OB.

  • I also go to Chesapeake Women's Care and have been very happy. I love Dr. Penn (he delivered DD), Dr. Luecke, and Dr. Keith...Dr. Edwards and Dr. Russell I only saw once each but liked them too. The only person I've heard bad things about (more than once) is Dr. Prichep. I never saw him.

  • Chesapeake Women's Care.  I have been to both the Waugh Chapel and Annapolis office.  I usually go to whatever office is most convenient at the time I'm scheduling the appointment.  I go to Dr. Wells and absolutely adore her.
