Solantic Vent...

2 hours waiting just to get a Z-Pack.. Kill me. .

Re: Solantic Vent...

  • So I know this probably won't make you feel any better, but for future reference, you can register online and then they'll call you when you should come in. This way you don't have to wait an unspecified amount of time in the office.

  • Yeah, I saw that while I was sitting there and thought about registering online to see which would come first. The worst part is when you finally make it past the waiting room, get into an exam room, the get your vitals and say, "the doctor will be in shortly... 10 to 20 minutes." Grrrrr! Angry
  • Oh trust me, I've been there. The closest Solantic to me is 30 minutes away so I tried the small place around the corner. 3 hours. I would have been better off registering and driving to Solantic.

  • Are you in Jax still? I can't remember. If so, I highly recommend Crucial Care. I took DH there when he had vertigo even though it was farther away than Solantic and we didn't wait at all. The nurse actually saw him puking in the parking lot and met us outside. We got straight into a room and waited less than 10 min for the dr.

  • Good to know, thanks. Yep Im still in Jax. I work on the Westside so I went to the Solantic there, but I will def keep Cruicial Care in mind as an option.

  • We live right on the border of OP/Westside and it was so worth the extra drive.

  • That stinks. I went to Crucial Care two weeks ago and waited a long time there too, but I think that just comes with the territory with those kinds of places.  Unfortunately the doctor at Crucial Care gave me a z-pack which was completely useless for my type of infection (I have a raging outer and middle ear infection in both ears).  The nurse practitioner I work with said there's something going around that's resistant to z-pack so I went to an ENT this week instead and now I'm on Cipro and Neomycin.
