Your vodka sauce recipe looks awesome.  Is it hard/time consuming?  I sometimes wimp out on Monday nights about cooking, but I'd like to try making it.

Re: ***Elizabeth***

  • It's about the easiest thing ever. Seriously. Less than 20 minutes from start to finish. The only thing that takes any time whatsoever is letting the vodka burn off. You just need to make sure it's boiling when you put the vodka in the pan and keep it boiling for 10-12 minutes. It's easy to smell when the alcohol is still there.
  • Nice!  Thanks for the info!

  • I should mention - it's even easier to taste when the alcohol hasn't burned off, so if your sniffer isn't working or if you can't quite tell, tasting should help.
  • Ok, I wimped out.  We're getting Red Robin takeout.  I'm lame.

    Maybe later this week!!

  • Hehe... I had big plans this morning to make chicken with 40 cloves of garlic and I think we're going to order a pizza. Wink
