wdty of this as a Christmas gift? PIP
My mom's sisters usually exchange a small homemade something for Christmas. I was planning to do B&W images on flour sack towels, but I'm not 100% in love with the finished product after washing. Am I being too picky? Would you like one of these tied around a loaf of banana bread or a couple bottles of homebrew?
ETA: Not all of them will be roosters. One aunt really likes roosters... the other images will be selected to match the giftee's personality/kitchen.

I think it's lovely! I would love to receive something like that around a loaf of delicious bread.
Do you think it will fade more with subsequent washings or is this the maximum fade?

It had a faded look pre-washing and there was very little additional fading, so I think the current image is there to stay. I'll have to rethink some of the images, because while the faded quality is nice with the vintage image, I'm worried it won't jive with a more modern image.
I like it!
I can see your point about fading being OK with a vintage image but maybe not otherwise though.

It was SUPER easy to make. The hardest thing was buying the Citrasolv. Eventually, I found some at an art specialty store in my town.
