I am looking to book a hotel for a work event in March. So far I've tried the W, the Willard, the JW Marriott on Penn, Grand Hyatt (which are all near our offices) and the Gaylord National. Any other recommendations for a "nice" hotel preferably nearish the first set of hotels? I have a call into the Ritz Carlton but am otherwise working off of recs. TIA.

Re: Hotel Recommendations?
"What is a week-end?"
The Hay Adams is a very nice upscale hotel with awesome views from their Top of the Hay rooftop space.
we have done work events at the Ronald Reagan Building (very close to JW Marriott and Willard) and they have all been great. Not sure the size of the event you need but they have a round room with a great view down Pennsylvania Avenue.
FYI Gaylord is nowhere near downtown but you might already know this.
Hotel Monaco is good suggestion. Mayflower, Soiftel, also the Madison.
