Shark steam mop questions
I just used mine for the first time today. I washed the pads and they already look dingy. How long will they last before I need to get new ones? Where do you buy them from? Will they still work just as well when they are stained in like dirt.
So far I think it cleaned the kitchen floor well. I wasn't going to try it on the wood floors but a friend told me I could. Right now I only use a product called Brut.
Re: Shark steam mop questions
min look a little dingy too, but usually i'll spray them with something before i wash them to help with that (even though it says not to). I've had mine about a year and they still work great. Although I'd like to get a couple more since it cleans so well I really need more to clean the whole house. I used mine on teh wood floors in our old place and it worked fine. You can find the replacement pads a walmart, sears, etc. happy mopping!
I have the Shark Steam Mop and close to 20 pads, if not more.
I bought a bunch at BBB with the 20% off coupons.
I clean the floor, take the pad off, and put it in a bucket in the laundry.
When the bucket is full I wash the whole lot at once.
Vinegar in the rinse cycle and hang dry.
Mine look dingy but I've never used anything on them like spray and wash.
