DH went to the Pentagon City Costco and they didn't have any in stock, customer service said it was seasonal. Ill call Springfield tomorrow, they're a much bigger store and have a better selection. Fingers crossed.
Re: artslvr
Ah, you noticed that huh?
Yes, DS was up all night crying last night. He's had a lot of nighttime wake ups lately, I was attributing to teething, but last night was particularly bad.
So DH stays home from work today, we make a morning pedi appt. for DS thinking ear infection. Moments later the preschool calls and says DD #2 says her ears hurt.
DH goes and picks her up and take both her and DS to the pedi. Turns out yes, they both have raging ear infections.
MEANWHILE... DH had emailed me at work this morning to say that it didn't look like DS was putting any weight on his right leg while he was playing around this morning. Huh - that would explain the multiple wake ups last night... between a possibly hurt leg and an ear infection that would account for my 4 hrs of interrupted sleep.
So pedi has sent DH, with DD #2 in tow, to the radiology practice in the same building as the pedi, to see if DS's leg is broken. !!!!!!! They're there now.
How much you want to bet DD #1 also has an ear infection? I'm putting down $10. Because she was up coughing last night and that usually means ear problems for her.
Wheeeeee!
Update: My mom is going to meet DH at the healthplex so she can help watch/distract DD #2 while they xray DS. Thank goodness for my mommy!
I hope your son is OK. I have no idea how you manage a 1 year old in a cast. Hopefully it's not broken so you won't have to find out.
It must be the week, Both DD and DS have ear infections, pink eye, with a side of hacking cough. And they both have lots of side effects from the antibiotics. <runs screaming with hands up in defeat>. I have no idea how ear infections are contagious, but my nephew got one yesterday as well. It seems to be going around.
Here's to a healthier weekend
