Re: **Tara**
Hi!
I finally quit nursing on November 19th. 2 days before his 15 month birthday. I ended up getting thrush again for the 6th time. I feel really really proud to have made it that far, but a little disappointed that I didn't go until at least 18 months. In the end, my marriage was more important to me. Rusty was really wanting me to stop and I told him I would so I had to go through with it. It was way harder on me than him. He still tugs at my shirt and whines, but bedtime isn't a problem. Rusty has him on a really good routine. It hasn't effected his STTN at all either, which I was worried about. My phsical side effects weren't at all what I thought they would be. I had dibilitating cramps a couple days after. They felt like constant contractions. I only felt engorged for about 36 hours, but 2 weeks later they are still tender to the touch. I also look like a 12 year old boy because my face has broke out so bad. All in all, we are doing fine...him more than me, which is the most important thing!
Rusty's company is Finish Carpentry Specialist, LLC or FCS for short. It is going ok. He has bid a ton of jobs. He put a bid together for an AMC Theater remodel that was $18,000. It is hard with commercial work because it takes them forever to get all the bids together and make a decision. He sent out a proposal last night for some residential work. It is a learning experience that is for sure. He hasn't quit his day job yet because he thinks he is going to get a bonus at the xmas party next week because he was been with them for 10 years this past year. Plus if he is employeed with them as of January 1 he gets 5 paid vacation days. He should be on his own 100% by the end of January.
I'm good. I'm ready for another baby though!
How are you and David doing? The kids are so cute and I can't believe they are 10 months old already! Are you starting to plan their birthday?
I'm so glad everything is going well! You should be EXTREMELY proud of yourself for going to 15 months! Thats awesome!
David and I are doing really well. I am a SAHM, EBF and going strong David is still farming. He is kind of in a slow part of the year so thats really nice. The kids are doing AWESOME!!! They are both crawling up a storm. Addi has just recently pulled her self up on the couch/coffee table and is cruising those. She will be walking in no time. Addi has 3 teeth and Reid has 2. They are such a fun age!
They learn something new everyday! Parker is in that fun stage too! It is amazing how much they grow, learn, and change in a year! I'm so glad everything is going well for you and your family!
