Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. Do you have a rec for a tripod for me? I have a Canon T2i and most likely use it just for personal use getting pics of us.

I don't know much about it, but I did see that Costco had one this weekend. It should be a good a size for your needs.
I have a Bogen by Manfrotto (3011 tripod w/ 488RC2 ball head)
This is something I definitely wouldn't cheap out on. You have expensive equipment that you want to be sure will be supported properly and securely on the tripod. Make sure the tripod you choose can support more than the weight of your camera and lens (and any future lenses you plan on investing in).
I would also make sure that it has a quick release system, there are still some out there that don't
