Sorry I am just now replying! It's been a crazy week!
1. Hobbies? I love event planning. I'm not sure if that counts as a hobby, but I am always looking for crafty things to do and ways to decorate.
2. How long have you been married? 2 years
3. How did you and your H meet? It's complicated. We went to the same school in eastern OK. I was in 7th grade and he was a freshman. My family was moving to western OK. The last Sunday we were at church there, he came up behind me, put his hands on my shoulders, and told my mom that he was going to marry her daughter some day. I had no idea who he was. I had seen him around, but we had never talked. I don't think I even knew his name. I ever so politely looked up to see who was touching me and said, "Whatever!" My mom replied with some like , "If you can put up with her, you can go right ahead." I thought he as a weirdo and that I would never see him again. Two years later (summer before my sophomore year), I went back to visit some friends. For some silly reason, H kept popping up in my head. We met that week and have been together ever since.
4. What do you do to handle stress? I am a huge stresser. I wish I handled it better. I have to talk. My poor H gets an ear full of nonsense when I'm stressed out. It helps me to unwind and figure out what my next step should be. Working out also help relieve some stress.
5. How many pets do you have? We have two dogs. Mr. Brooks and Bella. They are soiled rotten. : )
What day/time is most-likely to be your favorite moment of any given week? The day that H comes home. He is gone for 6 days at a time. I get so giddy/excited the day he comes back.
What are your plans for the holidays? I'm not sure. I don't know if H will be off or if his parents are traveling down here. We probably won't know until the last minute, which drives the planner inside of me nuts.
Do you have a favorite date night activity/restaurant? I really like going to the Warren to watch a movie and eat. We love watching movies.
Where do you live? Duncan area
Favorite color? Pink
Favorite food? Anything home cooked. I love food too much to only choose one thing.
Favorite book? Bible. I don't read much else although I am trying to get back into reading now that I have graduated from college.
Favorite childhood memory? The memory that sticks out the most is when my brother asked me to hold a rope for him. While I held it he tied me and my dolly to the swing set. My mom has a picture of me smiling and laughing while being tied up. I would do anything my big brother said. I look up to him a lot.
You've got no plans for a weekend. If you could go anywhere or do anything, what would you do? If H is at work, I wold go visit him. If H is home, we would plan a mini vacation at a resort where we could get massages and just relax.
Dream vacation? I want to travel a lot of places. The next thing I hope we do is go on a cruise.
How was your Thanksgiving? It was great! It was nice and relaxing. We saw a lot of family and had fun.
Where did you grow up? From age 2 to 13 we lived in southeastern OK. We moved back to southwestern OK after that. We moved around in both places so I don't exactly have a home town.
Do you plan on moving anytime soon? No. We just moved from the Lawton area to the Duncan area in June. We will be here for a few years at least.How long have you been Nesting? I used the knot in 2008/2009. I checked out the nest but didn't really know what it was until late 2009/early 2010.
Describe your decorating style I am not really sure how to describe it. I would definitely say more masculine (based on a previous poll from Puppy). I like earth tones a lot. Our house it kinda dark but it is super cozy.
What's your favorite place to buy groceries? There aren't many choices around here. I buy most things at Wal Mart and try to go to Homeland when possible.
