my SIL and MIL are in some sort of fuckedup competition over who can get Ellie the bigger, better Christmas gift. It's hilarious.
I think I'm almost done Christmas shopping! I just need to get my H some booze and some stocking stuffers, and then, donezo!
Ellie can count to 5! She's totes brill, y'all. and so cute. "un, too, fee, fo, fibe!"
I swear my mother is doing the same thing. She keeps asking me if I know what MIL is getting Sam, and then tells me she needs to get her just "one more thing." UGH.

I honestly had no idea the reason we are named the Wisconsin Badgers is after a little animal called a badger.
Or that we are the Milwaukee Brewers for all the workers in the breweries.
I just don't pay much attention to these things... and now I need a drink
a past client (incredibly psychotic, unmedicated, was terminated in spring) came back to haunt me yesterday. The director looked her up in the DOC files and she's has 13 DOC write ups since she was terminated form the halfway house in like April. She's BSC and seriously causing a ruckus in prison.
In some ways, I'm relieved that she's out of my life, but it makes me sad, because clearly she's still not getting the help she needs. I fear that if she doesn't accept her illness she'll be in prison or the state hospital for the rest of her life, because she really isn't safe to be in the community.

I am almost finished Christmas shopping. I need to buy something for SIL and another small thing for my sister and MIL, then I'm completely finished.
Then, I need to get crafting. I'm done with FIL, BIL, nephew, Kirk, and my stepmom. Now I need to work on the crafts for MIL, SIL, my mom, my aunt, my cousins and the goddaughters. My sister's is started but not yet sewn.

This has been my first full week of working at home and apparently I picked a good one..yesterday a moving truck showed up outside my house and my neighbor moved all her sh!!t out. Apparently she's leaving her husband...They're about my age and they got married a year after we did but apparently the honeymoon phase is OVER. I had errands to run but I didn't want to go out while she was out there packing up her car and directing the moving guys, so I stayed in my office and peeked out every once in a while. (I know, I'm a total coward. But I imagined that she probably didn't want to chat about why she was moving her stuff out of the house at 10am on a Wednesday..so I just stayed in..)
I really want to know what happened though. So nosy.

@ Jill and Beth, yeah, watching the honey badger video was the highlight of my day. I think it gets funnier the more you watch it.
@ Ames and Kelly, Ellie and Weston would make the cutest couple! And their kids would be super smart too:)
